Freedom is dangerous so we need price controls.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,

I am confused again.  Am I mistaken or did the Despicable (Spit Spit) President Richard Watergate Nixon issue wage and price controls?  I seem to remember it was in 1970.  The wage and price controls were promised to halt inflation in it's tracks.  It mush have worked like a charm because there was no more inflation in the 1970s!  Further confusion, what did the acronym "WIN" on those fabulous buttons stand for?  Those were seriously effective as well.  With these two formidable inflation fighting measures in place, how did Jimmy Malaise Carter ever avoid re-election in 1980?

Well stated. I remember the WIN buttons and how dumb they were. Two Republican Presidents in a row were stuck with the burden of inflation due to Democrat spending on the Vietnam War,  The Great Society War on Poverty and bureaucracy building.

Same as then, inflation now—since January 2021—is due to reckless spending on things that advance only the radical Democrat and Globalist agendas combined with non-stop quantitative easing (printing money we don't have).

Let's bear in mind that the Biden Administration's response to inflation was deflection: instead of admitting it was culpable, with all the composure and sincerity of a kid with his hand in the cookie jar, it created a straw dog by blurting out a lie about price gouging causing inflation.

Kamala's empty pledge to impose price controls is just the same lame excuse tossed in the microwave and half warmed over. It sounds noble to those unfamiliar with communism. It looks sinister and fraught with ulterior motives to anyone who hasn't been fooled. And it smells like bullshit.
