Hailing from the NY collective, I know that our MTE will serve us well and keep a watchful eye on Chuck the Schmuck Schumer LOL and our (sitting in a pile of crap) Governor Patterson.

Perhaps our new Leader-elect will be forgiving (still LOL) and allow her to craft legislation "for the children."
