At Texazistan's recent Convention the jackalope reminded MQS of an event at Capitol way back in early tea party days. The jackalope loaded up the minivan for the occasion. It was some inoccuous presentation regarding potential cost saving ideas languishing in Committee. I apologize for adding one more post to your terminated thread.  

Although it is completely anecdotal, I think I have some bad news for the Poly-Sci Prof.  I worked the election in a seriously Democrat leaning precinct.  Give ‘em Hell Harry country.  We had a record turn out.  We also had a very large number of young, first time voters.  Male and female.  I was one of the people checking in the voters.  Many of the new voters felt compelled to confess their intended voting sins to me.  All who confessed whispered that they were voting for Trump.  I was more than a little astounded.  

I thought of one other thing the Good Professor failed to factor in:  The overwhelming smug stupidity of liberal morons.
