My first thought was to wonder where the tampons were in this story?  It is Minnesota after all.  

Those trout do not look happy or healthy.  The way they float on their side after “treatment” is NOT a good sign.  My suspicion is that they are not pining for the Fjords.  Many of these are ex-fish.  

Many of the humans in the Republic of Alaskan Peoples™ that depend on my species to augment their Beet Rations™ eschew fisheries where hatchery raised fish return.  Hatchery fish are known to be loaded with artificial hormones, antibiotics, and other unnatural substances.  Just because salmon is labeled Wild Caught™, it can still be hatchery raised.  

These trout do not appear to be afforded “informed consent”.  Reminds me of some other recent events.  

Thank Marx that none of my Oncorhynchus Comrades spawn anywhere near Minnesota.  Maybe the trout were asking for it.

I discovered that this area has a mob (or whatever it is called) of RED kangaroos.  They hang out in one of the parks.  Technically at the zoo. There are 20 or 30 of them lounging around.  Because they seem to cluster, I wondered if they are gangaroos?  Maybe they hang out on street corners in groups while engaged in various criminal enterprises in the evening.  I can’t be sure.  Whatever they get up to, it must be exhausting.  (Maybe they are Nihilists)  The gangaroos seemed to spend most of their time napping in groups.  Perhaps I misread the situation completely.  

Good luck with the cannibalism.
