Being in charge of applying education, literacy, and healthcare to govern your own life can be a terrifying experience, for some comrades.



Look at the choices Americans using their education, literacy and desire for good health are presented with just to wash our dirty dishes.



All are superior to no dishwashing soap at all for sale at the Cuban grocery store.

By comparison, with Shawn Scott as Representative, Washington’s children might be allowed to construct a raft to escape the new Cuba using indigenous sugar cane, like the 1947 Kon-Tiki expedition, led by Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl in their semester of basket weaving class.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,

It seems the terms bandied about in this thread might mean different things to different Comrades.  Maybe even in direct defiance of the Party and/or State!  I’m desperately attempting to juggle all this in my fishy brain.  No doubt my Comrades will correct my wrong thinking feeling.  Here goes:

Schools / Education = Place to indoctrinate / Indoctrination to insure correct thought and only correct thought.

Literacy = The ability to read approved written materials.  The surviving materials remaining after all the unapproved written material has been removed.  I would have said “burned”, but as Rage Against The Machine points out, “you don’t have to burn the books you just remove them”.

Health Care = The system the State possesses to eliminate any undesirable elements of The Collective.  After all, “health” is a relative term.  Who could deny that Comrades still able to move about on the green side of the grass are in much better “health” than those decomposing underneath it.  Be grateful to the State and Party for your health Comrades.  

Did I get close?  Any other definition for the terms listed above would be counter revolutionary and result in less than optimal “health”.
