I listened to CausalCrunch being interviewed on the radio last week. His real name is David Swanson. It turns out Crunch is the proprietor of ImpeachForPeace.org. And, he's one of the "featured" bloggers at democrats.com.

I realize Peoples Troll Crunch is old news here. The reason I'm bringing this up is something he said during the interview. When Medved asked him about how he earns his living he said that the owner of democrats.com pays him his entire salary. In other words, democrats.com is paying him a salary to do all of this impeachment stuff he's doing. The owner of democrats.com is Bob Fertik, a democratic party "consultant". Now, I've looked at democrats.com and there is no way the ads there are generating any kind of profits for anyone to live on. Someone is paying all the bills for these "grass-roots" organizers, paying them salaries to live on. My first guess is that the Democratic Party is funneling money to these people. If that's true then what we have going on is a major political party doing what it can to generate a false sense in the country that there is a growing consensus among ordinary people that the president needs to be impeached. In other words a major political party using every dirty trick it can come up with to destroy a democratically elected President of the United States. Maybe I'm wrong in my assumption, but if I'm right, this is big. And very ugly. It would be very interesting to be able to follow the money.

I can name a dozen extremely radical "progressive" sites that are being run from one and the same room by the same people at Ramsey Clark's International Action Center near Union Square in NY City. They create the impression of a broad movement, which is neither broad, nor is it a movement. It's a fraud meant to shift the political discussion in this country to the far left. Someone is paying those salaries.

I had long suspected that many "independent" leftist bloggers and miscellaneous site owners also had to be paid by some shadow funds, charities, $soro$, or the Dem Party itself.

The thought had first occurred to me back in 2004 as I was trying to figure out why the lefties were so unanimous and vocal in the assumption that our group of Communists For Kerry had been generously financed by the Republicans. I figured it had to be a projection. The lefties had generous sponsors on their side, they were willing to whore for the money, so why not assume that the other side is doing the same? Especially that they still can't understand why anyone would want to "oppose progress" unless there's ca$h involved.

Such a projection was especially annoying because each of the CFK members had spent several hundred $$ out of their own pockets to keep the CFK running. And in the end, whatever proceeds we had in T-shirt sales, had been stolen from us (it's a long story).

Since then I have been invited to participate in a few right-wing blogs, none of whom had offered any pay. I didn't expect it anyway. Free is the name of the game.

Originally, at the start of the blogging phenomenon, right-wing blogs dominated the web. It was a natural process whereby the American majority tried to protest the bunch of elitist leftists at the MSM who had been artificially imposing their "progressive" opinions upon us.

But then, all of a sudden, a large variety of big and small "progressive" leftist blogs started popping up like alien invaders in the computer game with the same name. It was at about the same time the Huffington Post came to life in an effort o "balance off" the right-wing blogosphere. Today the number of the left-wing blogs probably equals that of the right-wing blogs. Thus, an appearance of "balance" has been achieved on the web - while most MSM still remain on the left.

It reminds me of how Air America was artificially created by a few deep-pocketed comrades to "balance off" the right-wing talk radio. Al Gore's "progressive" Current TV was also artificially created - not because the market had ruled so, but because some comrades with deep pockets decided they had to "balance off" Fox News, the only channel that gives voice to all sides of the political spectrum.

Going back to Crunch and friends - this seems to be part of the same process. Someone is financing this "balancing off" in the blogosphere, artificially creating a fraudulent impression of the demographic situation that does not exist. It's as if relatively small group of people were standing in the field, each propping up a pair of dressed-up scarecrows, creating an impression of a real army to the approaching enemy. The bamboozled enemy decides to avoid bloodshed and leaves, giving victory to a bunch of crooks.

This would not be so troubling if the cumulative effect of a variety of such frauds in the sphere of information delivery, education, and entertainment had not caused an artificial shift in the minds of the electorate, leading to the victory of phony Democratic candidates. America got bamboozled by a tiny elitist group with a lot of extra cash. And they did it with the assistance of a relatively small army of useful idiots who like to imagine power-grabbing conspiracies of the right-wing oligarchs - but wouldn't recognize a power grab by a "progressive" oligarch even if it hits them with a shovel upside the head, plus a one-way ticket in a box car to the gulag.

I'd like to follow the money all the way too, friend Otis. Who's with me?
