Slavery is wrong because we should all be the owners of our own lives to pursue and govern as each of us chooses. Freedom for all creates a healthy and vibrant society.

To demand reparations for slavery that no living person is connected to in any way, is to demand that the living be placed into bondage because of someone else's past injustices which all the living condemn. It is intellectually incoherent to say that because slavery is evil, some people should be bound and bonded to the lives of other people.

To argue for bringing about the modern-day enslavement of people is so thoroughly corrupt that it can only be explained by either mental derangement or shear evil intent.

So what you're saying is that The Party will impose a retroactive bait-and-switch on slaves by forcing taxpayers to purchase them for our dead ancestors at party-controlled exorbitant prices (adjusted for inflation of course)?

Hey, I have no problem with this. After all, my triple-great grandfather fought in the Union army during the Civil War (3rd Massachusetts Regulars) so by this logic, I'm entitled to some portion of any reparations the descendents of slaves get because my ancestor fought to free them.
