Sec of State Norman Y. Minetas' Sinister 'Grand Plan'

Image Bush's lackey, Sec of State Minetas

I hear that Dubya's secretary of state for transport is calling for investment in new roads. What's the big deal you might ask? Well, as one wise man once put it, "He who fails to learn the lessons of history is doomed to repeat them."

Look back through history, you'll see that every tyrant whether it be Caesar, Mussolini or Hitler, started off by building roads. Roads were not invented for the people. They were built to help tyrants armies mobilize and crush proletarian revolutions.

Image I assure you, ze autobahns are for purely civilian purposes mein freund

Today, roads only exist for commerce and big business. The people wouldn't need cars or roads if it weren't for the artificial family unit. We could all use collective public transport. Railways and trams are much more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The only reason they want to build more roads is so that a) the corporations can deliver goods up and down the country more efficiently, to and increase profit margins and b) so you'll use more petrol! Filling the pockets of shareholders at MNCs like Shell and Halliburton, and enriching the Saudi Royal Family at the same time.

Roads are also part of the bourgeois meta-narrative. They symbolize pre-determined pathways which we must all take, complete with rules and regulations that we all must follow, e.g. stop at red lights, slow down, give way, let the strong overtake the weak etc. They habituate drivers into obediently conforming to the instruction of the state. That's why the Nazis loved them.

But as Nietzsche so ingeniously pointed out (before contracting syphilis and being sent into a mental institution for bestiality) it is the free spirit, the social deviant who drives the evolution of humanity.

Image Friedrich Nietzsche: "You must have chaos within you to give birth to a dancing star."

By shaking things up, by challenging the rules, and rejecting the accepted moral order, the free spirit beats his own path, and paves the way for others to follow in new, innovative directions. The Republicans fear the free spirit, fear leads to hatred, and hatred leads to destruction. Norman Minetas must be stopped before it's too late.

Civilians don't need Personal Mobility Systems (PMS) Public Transportation will make sure that everyone is delivered 300 meters away from their destination

When Mussolini was in power, didn't the trains run on time? Wasn't the Big Dig in Boston built ahead of schedule and with the most efficiency?

Comrades, prove me wrong. Proggressives should be in charge of public transit. Our track record speaks for itself...
