Americans still free to use money as weapon against Progress

Comrades!

We can't achieve the Glorious Progressive World of Next Tuesday as long as Americans are free to choose how to spend their money.

Below is an email circulated by conservatives, who are hoping that, while money is still allowed, they can use it as a political weapon to reward friends and punish enemies.

This is yet another reason for the Progs in power to eliminate money and switch to government-approved rationing.

Money gives people the freedom to choose. By getting rid of money we also get rid of choices.

The freedom to choose is a grave threat to progress and must be outlawed, just like the freedom to bear arms. And at the root of it all is, of course, money.

And here's the email:

Don't do business with anyone who supported Obama!

END OF TRANSMISSION

This email once again proves that money is the root of all evil.

Fortunately for us, the businesses marked in blue prove Comrade Lenin's words, "The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them."

They will be hung last.

Capitalism is to socialism what steak and baked potato is to creamed tuna over minute rice but, against all odds, we've managed to convince half of all Americans to prefer socialism. If there isn't some kind of Nobel Prize for that there sure ought to be.

There is- the Nobel Prize for Economics. Paul Krugman won it

Fortunately, there is little actual "cash" money floating around. Those who do not purchase their vodka and other necessities with stamps or bridge-cards (i.e., who we own anyway), I hear use something called a "credit card" (much like the US Debit Card used by The One). Could we not enlist the aid of our union bretheren who "calibrated" the voting machines to similarly "calibrate" the credit card verification system so that only approved purchases at approved vendors will be authorized? Of course, this would only be an interim measure until we can eliminate money *spit* entirely.

I fail to see the problem here. It is manifest that people cannot be allowed to spend their own money. As Slick Willie, PBUH, said, they can spend it better. And get more mileage from it. Not in bang for buck but in Socialist Bang for Buck, which means of course extorting as much money as possible from people who don't like it, while telling them that they're mean to resent being held up by a moral footpad.

So if someone spends a dollar wrong, it's because he still has that dollar to spend. When will you learn that the only true economy is a centrally planned one? That way we don't have to spend our money. We spend OPM.

Pardon me while I change my underwear.
