Collective Reasoning

My sister Angie doesn't realize Wisconsin is ground zero of the union debate. States aren't broke! They are cheap!

In the private sector, the boss has finite wiggle room. Ultimately he can give only so much to union demands before he prices the business out of the market and puts both parties out of work. This is why we need to eliminate privatization altogether!

In the public sector, that firewall is non-existent! Politicians negotiate money that's not theirs and that makes their jobs easier. Plus the more they please the unions, the more re-election backing they get! Everybody wins! Capitalist swine want to overwork our already over worked and under appreciated politicians.

Then there's evil capitalist swine Governor Scott Walker, who's proposed bill makes union dues voluntary, giving individual members choice where their money goes. What do individuals know about the big picture? They are too busy worried about Charlie Sheen than to understand the complexities of what's good for them.

If our freedom and right to collective bargaining is taken today, what will be taken tomorrow? Our right to a full time job? This debate is not about individual rights! It's about the power given to an individual party! Remember comrades, freedom is not for the individual! It's for the collective!

Union dues should be voluntary and mandatory volunteerism is the essence of Marxist freedom.

You know what would be funny is a cartoon show like Family Pants, you know that retro sort of look you've done there, about the frustrations of young collectivist cartoonists trying to put together a political propaganda Cube cartoon show whose production is completely micro-managed by the Cube Propaganda Directorate Committee. A cartoon show about a cartoon show making fun of top-down collectivism.

Comrade Whoopie is quite correct!

If you make the offer;
would you rather pay union dues, or spend six months in the hospital recovering from your injuries?

The overwhelming majority of dues collection would be voluntary.

It could be that one or two “examples” would have to be made in order for this policy to become effective.

Ah yes...young Francis: the Penultimate of Progressive Youth! Is this not what we've been striving for all these decades? The next generation of Socialist wisdom? A generation of young Comrades who live and breathe this stuff?

Comrade Whoopie's admonition is soooooo correct thought. Mandatory volunteerism is the foundation of all we do. Remember Comrades, when in doubt, just ask your Local Commissar and they will gladly provide you with the current truth.

Keep up the good works Comrade Francis.
