CONTEST! Rename L.A.!

User avatar
Let's get in on the ground floor on this one, comrades!

Los_Angeles_Seal_New.png
The Los Angeles County Supervisors tried to sneak in a blatant Constitutional violation last year by inserting a reactionary cross into the new county seal, but thanks to an alert activist judge, they've had their little Christofascistic fingers slapped!

Some savvy American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California watchdogs and a group of properly diverse religious scholars and leaders filed suit to stop this attempt to create a theocracy in Los Angeles when supervisors added a small cross to the top of the mission building depicted on the Great Seal of Los Angeles County in 2014.

Although the supervisors swore (that is to say LIED!) that the cross was simply placed there to show that the building depicted on the seal was a representation of the historical mission that was part of the original settlement of the city, these wise guardians of the Peoples' morals were not fooled.

It was obviously an attempt to intimidate persons of non-Christian backgrounds and force them to worship an imperialist and white-supremacist deity every time they saw the county seal.

They brought suit over the issue, and the wheels of justice rolled right over Los Angeles today, when U.S. District Judge Christina A. Snyder ruled against the county, requiring to remove the hate-filled symbol of religious oppression from the County Seal immediately.

I say this is a good start, comrades, but it does not go far enough in erasing the history we don't like.

We need to change the name of Los Angeles itself. It is simply too much of an endorsement of religion as it stands. The actual name of the city in full is "La Ciudad de la Reina de los Angeles" ("The City of the Queen of the Angels"), which is a blatant reference to the Virgin Mary.

We can't have that, now can we?

So I put it to you, loyal Party Members: What shall we demand as the new name of the city and county that dares no longer speak its name?

The most popular suggestion I've heard so far for L.A.'s new name is Las Humanas.

In the meantime, comrades, let's learn from history! The Communist Party in the USSR has successfully suppressed Christianity through the use of visual agitprop, paid for by the people's government. It's time we pick up where they left off!

Here are just two examples:

1. "Triumph of Christianity"

This visual agitation aid proves with facts that Christianity is a vast conspiracy by the rich capitalist exploiters aimed at providing the ruling classes with free transportation. You can't see at this resolution, but the capitalist in this picture is Donald Trump.

2. "Religion is poison, keep it away from the children!"

The cisgendered female child in this visual agitation aid wants to go to school, learn to be a pilot in the People's Air Force, and explore her sexuality - possibly by having protected and safe consensual sex with the male student tooting a phallic-shaped horn. But her evil cisgendered female grandparent, angry and frustrated over her lifelong battle to suppress her own inner lesbian, is dragging the child to the church, which is crumbling due to the lack of a proper certificate from the government building inspector. The priest is holding the door open for them, hoping to rape the child and throw her body to his trained vultures who are already circling the church in anticipation of human flesh.

Living in the Los Angeles area, it becomes all too apparent that what happens (t)here is difficult to swallow. Therefore, how about renaming it "Lozengeles?"

But why beat around the bush about this place? Let's call it "Messican City." Where Korean is the offical language.

Image This may seem a bit obtuse but,

When I lived in L.A., this happened on my street, Cadillac Ave.

I came home from work one day and found young people camped in the driveway where I parked and lived. They told me what had happened which is explained in the link below.

A 16 year old girl, named Ana Interiano, was fatally shot while talking with her friends in a so-called alley off of Cadillac Ave.

They were soliciting a car wash to provide her family with funds to bury her. I participated in the car wash later that week. Not one person to this day has ever “ratted” on the monsters who did this. They are too afraid. This is common L.A. Gang behavior, especially the 18th Street Gang which dominates this area.

So, as a new name for this Godforsaken place, I would like to offer the name Interianostan.

In her honor.

Also, I'd like to mention, in this same area, we all came to work one morning to find the scatoligical remains of some self-entitled under-the-freeway dude who had chosen to crap on our property.

The police were summoned. While they were present, my colleague, A Brit, a true a-hole with all his a-hole humor, came out with his hand on his hip and asked the officer, in all his a-hole sincerity, “Excuse me, officer, are you on bum duty?”

True story.
You can't make this stuff up.

Los Angeles is a self-inflicted joke. Sadly.
I suppose you could also use the term Scatanavia.
Yeah, that would be my submission.

Comrades,

I know i'm repeating myself, so if you are bothered by this please send me to gulag,

but in Europe the next city seal would look like this:

losangeles.jpeg

The name of the city would be something like "Madina al Jihadin" (city of the martyrs).

Luckily for you guys it's not Europe, and the next city name will probably be:

"Ciudad de las Bandas Mexicanas"

And as seen in this realistic depiction, our comrade Yuri Gagarin saw no god during his space travels! The caption says 'no god' i believe, but maybe our Direktor can confirm this...

As a proud Pastafarian I have my doubts about this poster, but the party is always right of course...

Indeed, that's what the poster says - meaning "there's no God."

For our younger readers with modern kollege edukation, Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space. His flight in Vostok 1 rocket in 1961 was used as a major boost in Soviet anti-religious propaganda, because Comrade Gagarin didn't see any deity sitting on a cloud, nor encountered any spherical firmament during his 108 minutes in orbit. What more proof does one need, really?

Since the flight happened on April 12, 1961, the date was declared Cosmonautics Day in the USSR, and is celebrated until today in Russia. Additionally, in 2011, it was declared the International Day of Human Space Flight by the United Nations (a subsidiary of the formerly Soviet-run Socialist Internationale).

April 12 is only three days from now and we should celebrate it as well.

Although, truth be told, the very first heroic sacrifice in space was made not by Gagarin, but by Laika the Space Dog, who volunteered to be the first living cosmonaut four years prior to Gagarin. And unlike that of Gagarin's, Laika's flight plan didn't involve a return from orbit, which makes this dog's dedication to progress and socialism a shining example of service to the community that all progressives must follow.

A suggestion-For the seal to be Mooslic compliant the cattle should be depicted as a ritual slaughter for Eid al-Adha festival and the fish replaced with what the Joos were turned into (take your pick) for fishing on the Sabbath.

I thought that was "Lost Anglos." That would be more appropriate.
