Count Your Blessings Comrades! (Use PeoplesMath™ Of Course)

Comrades!

Happy Lundu Gras to you all and may you have a blessed Super Tuesday/Mardi Gras tomorrow! Of course, I Commissar Pupovich will be off tomorrow since Mardi Gras is a holiday in the People's State of Louisiana.

But we have so much to celebrate Comrades! First, a great many Comrades here failed to see the great victory for the Progressive World of Next Tuesday that we witnessed last night. Some saw only a non-progressive exhibition of competition in the so called Super Bowl. But I saw a great victory for our side. For you see, the so called Giants were great underdogs against the supposedly superior "Patriots." Most expected these "Patriots" to win their fourth Superbowl and cap a perfect season against a team that was given little hope. So what did we see Comrades? If you have true Progressive vision such as mine, you saw Hope and Change become reality! Yes! It showed the fulfillment of Hope and Change, a harbinger if you will for the coming revolution.

This is not all we have to celebrate Comrades. For you see, tomorrow will be the day future generations will look back and honor as the day the United Socialist States of Amerika became a foreordained conclusion. While of course we are sure the Empress will prevail tomorrow, that is of little import in regard to the creation of the USSA. Wait Empress, hear me through. For you see, your victory, as glorious as it will be, will pale in light of Comrade Senator McCain's victory in the Republikan primary. Why you ask? Because after tomorrow, no matter who eventually wins the Democratic nomination, a Democrat socialist will win the election in November regardless of any thing between now and then! The United Socialist States of Amerika will be a fact as of tomorrow, and only the degree of perfecting said state to be decided, and of course, only the Empress can assure true perfection and what we work for and dedicate our lives and semi sacred honor for.

I have a Dream Comrades! Of Hope, Of Change, of a United Socialist States of Amerika!

Oh, I'm not sure Comrade Pup. MTE's health plan and her vow to suck billions from evil kapitalist enterprise seems far more progressive.

Either way, enjoy Super Tuesday and I wish I could be up there to share the revolution with you. All we have to look forward to down under is to watch it on a (gag) Fox-based commercial channel.

Mardi Gras? Isn't Mardi Gras a decadent Catholic holiday, Pupovich??? Hmmm... The Party frowns on this subversive act against the People and I'm afraid we have no choice but to garnish everyone's wages. Yes, everyone blame Commissar Pupovich for the cuts in your vodka ration this week since his decadent Mardi Gras is more important than the work of the Party.

Now if you plan on attending Mardi Gras as a tarted up BEQ baring your falsies for beads from drunk bi-curious college Democrats; then by all means go to your Mardi Gras, Pupovich. If not I'm afraid wages will have to be garnished and everyone - with the exception of me and a few other elites - will have to suffer... for the Children™, of course. I wouldn't ask everyone to suffer if it wasn't for the Children™. I hope everyone understands that.

User avatar
Bare your falsies... For The Children ™. What a wonderful, progressive world!

Of course I agree completely, what I am saying is regardless, the United Socialist States of Amerika will be a reality with the McCain victory today. I would not be surprised if we do not even have an election in November. McCain will probably accept the vice presidency from the Empress so there will be no need for an expensive election.

Yes Chairman, the Mardi Gras is originally a decadent Catholic holiday... but the operative word is decadent. In that sense it is a most progressive day, where all so called "sins of the flesh" are not only practiced but encouraged. Of course it is not limited to Catholics either, and imagine the contributions to be collected from millions of drunk, partying, half naked people. So you can go ahead and garnish wages as it is most progressive, but it is not necessary on account of Mardi Gras... my take... my contributions to the Party will be higher than usual.

User avatar
And you can't get more progressive than a holiday where women are required to pull up their shirts in front of crowds at least once.

User avatar
No you can't Premier, not unless of course the price of said exposure is some worthless plastic beads. It doesn't get more progressive than that.

User avatar
Premier Betty wrote:And you can't get more progressive than a holiday where women are required to pull up their shirts in front of crowds at least once.

Isn't that just a normal everyday protest rally?

User avatar
Yes, but those exposing themselves were born after the hippies at the protest rallies and thus are much younger and much more pleasing to observe. And they aren't holding signs complaining about how war makes their boobs sag and crap like that.

User avatar
And where else can you find such a scene as these rural Louisiana Mardi Gras necro proxy poll workers?

User avatar
I'd like to take a baseball bat to those piñatas....

User avatar
Those piñatas are people Premier! People! Progressive voters!

User avatar
Don't worry, all we need are their votes, and nothing will stop them from voting democrats. Not even a long painful death due to massive internal bleeding caused by a regulation sized bat.

User avatar
And what would you have to say about this Premier?

Image A large crowd gathers at one of the rural stops in 1998 where the Mardi Gras are chasing chickens being thrown from the roof of a house.

Or this progressive green transportation?
Image
As you can see, the party in New Orleans is much different than the original Louisiana Mardi Gras.

But we still collect contributions for the Empress!
Image

User avatar
Oh Premier, you are so so wrong! The reason they are chasing chickens etc is the riders go through the country side collecting food contributions and then the community comes together to make gumbo, jambalaya etc, and eat. How progressive is that?

User avatar
Not as progressive as giving al their money to me. Which I will in turn give to our MTE, of course....

User avatar
Premier, I am surprised at you. It is much more efficient for me to collect those contributions to the MTE rather than sending them out of state first. I eliminate a middle man in this way....yes, the middle man has been eliminated.

User avatar
Yes, but those exposing themselves were born after the hippies at the protest rallies and thus are much younger and much more pleasing to observe. And they aren't holding signs complaining about how war makes their boobs sag and crap like that.

Indeed, No signs and these do not sag.

User avatar
And at least four of them appear to be real. Y'know, until Boobs not Bombs started flashing for freedom, I use to be the Will Rogers of Tits...never met one I didn't like.

User avatar
Great Lenin's Ghost! Do you know what you have done Comrade Sea Bass? No, I know you don't know, so I will tell you! You have invited Commissar Theocrtius to come here and post pictures of the most un-holy sagging breasts, or thong stretching behinds, or even some BEQ! He does this almost every time a decent looking progressive gal appears if only to remind the Party that beauty is equal... at least in theory. Lenin help us!

User avatar
I believe this may be a more accurate representation of the young Komsomol that frequent this event.

Image

User avatar
For Lenin's sake! Didn't you see my warning above? You and Comrade Sea Bass are nearly forcing Commissar Theocritus to come here and post some hideous photo. Whoa is me! I warned you all!

User avatar
I see no problem... no problem... at... all....

<drooooooolll>

Then again, why should they even bother wearing shirts?

Image

User avatar
Here's another one that's even more progressive. I wouldn't mind getting these donations!

Image

User avatar
What is going on here? I start a thread to celebrate the start of the United Socialist States of America and it has turned into a decadent, sleazy, free for all.... oh never mind, I see the connection now.

User avatar
Yes, time perverts all. And as true progressives, we must embrace these perversions and use them to bend the masses to our will.

User avatar
A true Progressive can twist a perversion so much it becomes a virtue. Actually, that is our point isn't it?

User avatar
Of course, and we try hard at it... some more than others.

*cough*Meow*cough* *cough*

Man, sometimes I miss the Motherland (NOLA).

Not much... not often.

User avatar

Sorry Commissar, the temptation was too much for me LOL

Commissar Pupovich wrote:The motherland (NOLA) , misses you as well Commissar M....

Hehehe... You almost made me post a smiley, Comrade. NOLA was, and remains, a rare model of successful American Socialist Progress. I have often observed that what The Party intentionally mislabels as "liberalism" in the US is the stupid, drunken, sex-crazed kid sister of True Progressivism elsewhere in the world. That observation was formed while in NOLA and its inspiration wasn't simply metaphorical. In fact, I consider my time in NOLA as helping to form the attitude I have today about about Socialist Collectivism and what it does to for The People.

But yes I do miss being able to pick up the weekly vodka ration at the grocery store 7 days a week and having several good restaurants in walking distance of my house.

User avatar
No doubt about that, shoot, you can walk just a few blocks it seems anywhere in New Orleans and find great cooking, even if it is in some neighborhood family owned store. I found lots of good eats served in the most out of the way places. My first job for the state was as an Eligibility Determination pup at the New Orleans welfare office Progressive Subsidy office on Tulane Ave, then the second largest such office in the US, so of course I was well versed in the good work done by our progressive policies.

Ah, for a mufaletta samich from the Central Grocery just off Jackson Square!
