Comrades, I am hesitant to even mention this as it could be evidence that even a loyal, semi-powerful Party member such as I, can still have UnCurrentTruthCrime™ clutter in the quieter corners of my vast brain. Is it only me, or does any one else recall the events that some allege to have occurred on this date, June 6th? For those of you that were properly brought up in more current progressive public schools, this may well be news to you, but for older comrades such as I, we were taught by cruel, non-progressuve teachers that filled our skulls with trivia such as the legend that on this date, the imperialist allies invaded Normandy, France to kick out the flawed, yet more progressive socialists of Hitler's Germany in the largest sea borne invasion in history.

The reason I mention this is not that far back, in my memory at least, this date was mentioned, even glorified by the press, the media, even movies made around the events of this day. So I must admit, I was struck when I saw not even one single mention of this when I went to investigate the latest VRWC lies on Fox News. I went to Google, and did discover by their icion today, that June 6th is the birthday of the famous Spanish painter Diego Velázquez. Needless to say, this is progress no doubt Why pay attention to the tens of thousands that gave their blood on this day? Or at least as some allege to have happened.

I welcome my Comrades comments on this.

This is because our more correct, more progressive, schools today are correctly teaching the proletarians of tomorrow that ANY military operation conducted by the United States of America are ALWAYS for imperialistic motives. Yes Komrade Zarkov, I remember all too well. I have not expounded on my more equal knowledge of history with most comrades here as not to make them feel excluded and more importantly, to not cause them to wet their beds at night from nightmares. For while my comrades consider Bush to be the ultimate in evil, I remember all too well the horrors of life under Nixon. One thing about him though was commendable, in that he was an imperialist not afraid in the least to use his power, even within the borders, and unlike the soon to be vanquished Bush, he knew enough to keep it secret, lessons we should emulate upon our ascension to power. On this date in June 1944 Moscow radio called on the people of Poland to rise up against the German occupation forces. Nearly forty thousand men in the Polish underground army listened to the call. And they attacked the Germans. The citizens of Warsaw probably could have defeated the German occupation forces if the Soviet army had helped them.

But Soviet leader Josef Stalin betrayed in an effort to save the Poles knew that many members of the Polish underground forces opposed communism as much as they opposed the Germans. He feared they would block his efforts to establish a new Polish government that was friendly to Moscow.

For this reason, Stalin held his forces outside Warsaw. He waited while the Germans and Poles killed each other in great numbers. The Germans finally forced the citizens of Warsaw to surrender.

The real winner of the battle, however, was the Glorious Soviet Union. Both the Germans and the Poles suffered terrible losses for the common good during the fighting. The Soviet Army had little trouble taking over the city with the help of Polish Communists. And after the war, the free misguided Polish forces were too weak to oppose a Communist government loyal to Moscow.

It was a spectacular day in history.
