Don't Know About You Guys But, I Need a Breather!

Wow, Comrades!

So, I offer this:

EMBEDDED VIDEO NO LONGER AVAILABLE

This video combo of Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire reminds me so much of us, Comrades.

It's the group Chicago's "Beginnings," a rousing and uplifting celebration of all of our hopes and dreams and belief and trust of each other.

I love how each says what they have to say, then backs off to let the other one say what they have to say. Ever present is a wimpy girl in the background who barely does backup. She doesn't care what she is singing about. Yet another metaphor for low info voters.

The very scary idea of "individualism" is present here. Yet, harmony and joy is felt when all is said and done! How can this be?

Do realize, when you hear the words "kiss" and everything, that it is just a metaphor for affection, which may indeed include kissing and maybe actual hugging.

Don't be fooled by this. It's all propaganda for whatever you want it to be.

Individualism... but only in the beginning... "It's only the beginning... It's only just the start.." We're moving FORWARD!

Hmmm - propaganda? When they sing that they have to be silent? Deep breath! It's a collective consciousness. Take a deep breath - then FORWARD!

Thank you, Anonemous1, I feel so much better now. Yes, that's it. A deep breath. Yes! Sigh!

I love the way one of us trumpets a response to an elephantine trombone, then backs off to let him respond, withholding nothing, in a respectful way.

When they say, "Mostly I'm silent," I mean I try to say the things I want to say but can't always find the words. Through The Cube I have found so many ways, and I am grateful. A wonderful, exciting feeling! (and I am still working on it)

Does this make sense?

I believe it does.

Our musical brethren demonstrate why George Bernard Shaw was so very correct when he proclaimed "We should have had socialism already, but for the socialists."

Tell me about Individualism. We went into a White Castle after the bar closed on a Friday night and filked the Moody Blues who sang of White Satin. They didn't like individualism either. Nights in White Castle, the one on Big Bend,
I eat there quite often, I ain't got no friends.
6 bombs and a cheese fry,
That's as far as we got when they threw us out.

And if Comrade Pamalinski wants Feelings. She'd change her mind fast when hearing it played on the bagpipes.

My kind of breather, what with all the (false) talk about imminent terror attacks.

Don't be afraid. Don't be very afraid. Comrade President Barackzebub Husseinovich Obama will be back from his vacation before too long.

So True! And Captain - I'm wondering how you found that picture... it... looks familiar.... Must be from our trusted NSA keeping me secure.... especially since Big Sis has left her job.

But you are especially right that we don't have enough good socialist music being played. So, first up, in honor of Pammy who started this thread (and not to forget our good Comrade May P.)

I'm not sure if I embedded that correctly... I'm better at embedding my teddy than music.. well, if not, find the good music at:
"Union Maid"

You won't want to miss these guys when they come to town!

They're like totally tight, comrades, I'm talkin' full on gangsta!

Comrade Anyer Marx,

Using Scratchanitch's head as a surrogate for your own prurient expression is most laudable. Way to deflect, Comrade! Well done!

I especially admire the dangling balls combined with the firmly held CUBE, with me clinging to all of it!

Brilliant!

Comrade Putout,

You continue to amaze me with your ever-accelerating ability to express yourself by manipulating images and expressions.

I mean, Flatwood Mac? Excellent!

You used the word "perspicacious" to describe me. I am so honored! Even though I am mostly silent. Which, as you know, I'm really not.

Comrade Pistov,

I once saw a symbol that displayed the circle with the 45 degree angle on it, (can't find it) You know, the one that says "no this, no that." This one had bagpipes as a forbidden thing. I couldn't help laughing, 'cause I know what they mean. Sometimes you don't want to hear bagpipes, except when they play "Amazing Grace" for a fallen officer.

R.O.C.K.,

OK, I listened to good 'ol Black Sabbath's, Paranoid. A tad repetitive but very demonstrative of the "same shit, different day" thingy I posted this for.

I agree with you about the false terror attack thing. I think it's a way to let us all know that, unlike Benghazi, he is really on the case now and is being given "frequent briefings" on this issue.

In addition, regarding your recent post about Chris Christie and the RINOs:

I'd like to call them "Christie Critters!"

Believe me, I sure don't forget. Ms Scratchanintch is a diagnosed Manic-Depressive whose power is enhanced by feminism. Her psychiatrists tell me the way to "get along" with her is to let her have her way.

If, for some reason I fail to let her have her way- such as her having spent every dime in the checking account, and my failure to have any more Social Security money left this month- she will punish me by landing herself in jail or the mental hospital.

"Hillary Clinton vs. Rand Paul in 2016 would be a tough choice".

Hmmmm. Very "thoughtful". They could name the back-up singers "Christie Critters!" (Hey! A little cross-over never hurt anybody. Know what I mean?)

Christie Critters is good, since the "New Christie Minstrels" is already taken...

Vladimir_Scratchanitch kindly reminded me of an image I posted when he wrote:Miz Putout- How soon you have forgotten the warning from my ever-lovely wife.
I did indeed forget about that image... however, I do remember having so much fun 'finding' it on the internet!

Coincidentally, I found another interesting image that may explain your unique countenance. At least you aren't wearing 'briefs over boxers!' (Could this be the genesis of the phrase 'melon balls?')
