These people have created local currency to support their own economy, and are even backed by a bank, now! This bank must be nationalized, immediately.



I hope we get our own Texas currency one day.

Stay loyal to the people's currency of the State. Some say inflation is coming so I have been saving up for a trip to the grocery store.

I have my laser printer churning out $5 IOU's to supplement the official IOU's being printed by the People's Treasury in Washington.

I do my part to stimulate the economy by handing them out to the homeless. When they try to spend them, they get a free ride, a warm cot and 3 square meals courtesy of the taxpayers.

Germany has a version of this for credit cards. The country, which is notorious for having very few businesses that accept credit cards or visa/mastercard check cards (because that transation fee is SOOOOOOOO huge) contains a mall where all the stores accept that mall's credit card. It's only good in the mall for stores in the mall. One pays their bill via bank transfer. I can't even begin to tell you how many German businesses have lost my business simply because I refuse to carry hundreds or thousands of Euros in my pocket. Occasionally I've had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest ATM and 20 minutes back to make my purchase, all while paying 19% VAT. We should seriously look at such a scheme for reducing destructive consumerism in our backwards Kapitalist economy. Next Tuesday is coming!

Why Comrade Leninka, you can denounce anyone you wish. There is free speech after all. But if you denounce the wrong person you don't know what will happen. In fact it can be a smart move denouncing a higher up, if you can find people higher than that person to support you in your acts.

Denounce away, it's always safer to say something than nothing. For if you say nothing, than you are up to something and have secrets. And it is not good to keep secrets from The Party(TM).
