After re-educating gently persuading my few remaining relatives (that I have not already denounced as TEA-rrorists) regarding the Virtues of Obamacare and the need for "reasonable" Gun Control measures over some unidentifiable poultry carcass, a cooling late-Autumn breeze brought to my remembrance that FESTIVUS is Just Around the Corner.



Ah, Yess... The airing of the grievances...the feats of strength....the lovely, chocolate-covered damsels. I raced right home and polished my Festivus Pole.

There is only ONE Party-approved holiday observed around the Winter Solstice: FESTIVUS!

REAL FESTIVUS

Any veiled references to other alleged "holidays" are srtiktly verboten and could initiate your post-natal contraception (for womyns' health).

I will also add... If you have not already have an erect Festivus Pole sitting in your living room, you will receive a visit from Organising for Action representatives.

BTW...You have only 24 more shopping days until Festivus.

I can't wait for Festivus /Marxmas/Obamamas. The thought of the steel holiday pole in my collective apartment's quad, brings a tear to my eye.

I could not find an erect Pole, but several Italians and a Czech in my neighborhood were willing to participate.

For lack of space in my living room, however, the Czech was cancelled.

Hummm, that might be the reason why I couldn't really understand the words from that outta of work Czech guy who was mumbling to himself on the sidewalk as I was walking by him back to my H.Q.
