Flying Spaghetti Monster

A Democratic politician in a small town in New York was sworn into office on Jan 2. in one of the most interesting ways possible: While wearing a colander — a strainer used to drain water from rice or pasta — on top of his head.

According to The Observer, a local newspaper in western New York, newly-seated Pomfret Town Council member Christopher Schaeffer took the uncommon step to make a “statement about religious freedom.”

See, Schaeffer is a “Pastafarian” and a minister with the so-called “Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster,” a faux faith system that was created by an atheist and is widely considered a mechanism for poking fun at faith and religion.

Those Pastafarians are infidels!

Their church teaches that Global Warming Climate Change is caused by a lack of pirates. A lack of pirates! [spit] This goes directly against the teachings of the State Church. I wish Pope Algore would issue a fatwah against these hooligans.

Is there any question of WHY Mooslimicalists cut the heads off of apostates?

It at least appears that this dogma and pony show was not staged by the Barilla Sect, which as we all know because we have been told is anti-LGBTXYZ, only allowing members to indulge in stiff, al dente, straight pasta! No limp noodles or odd farfalle shapes for that nefarious group. I wonder though, how do they get by the meatball question?

Pastafarians have much in common with the Church Of Klimate Change: they both worship the same spaghetti god.

They do worship that flying spaghetti god... the rest of us call it Charles Darwin.
