Exploiting American people's compassion is pretty old hat and easily identifiable as a dishonest.
The second old technique is the explicit or implicit false dilemma.
Here the implied dilemma is that without food stamps people will starve.
The truth is that food stamps are abused by a majority of the recipients and the qualifications for food stamps keep the average recipient from wanting to take the risk of getting a job that might not pan out and improve his or her life.
Food stamps handed out by Godless government also guarantees that the recipient will not be encouraged to see the values of the giver as something to emulate in order to escape poverty. Keeping God out of government and out of society achieves our overall goal of a utopia, you know, kinda like when a little kid gets run over and no one goes to help the poor child. Or when electric plants are closed all over the US and, instead of that, the news media focus on a soon-to-be-non-existant "problem" of obesity or what some Hollywood creep is wearing.

Comrades, they are catching on to the use of the false dilemma. We wore out the false dilemma as a propaganda tool and must move forward to stronger Communism immediately.
For half a decade schools taught that it is far better to run the runaway train into the individual rather the crowd. They are catching on that there is no runaway train. People are starting to ask questions and soon we will be caught lying again. They are restorting back to individual rights, learning that the way Americans built this system already protects minority rights just as it protected minority religions that came to America to begin with. They are no longer believing that God-given fundamental rights should be sacrificed to the common good, the public good, the communist good.

The best plan by which to move forward is to abandon the one we have. Frankly, only a Troskyite would pick the buffoon at the WH. The buffoon cannot count beyond the number of his digits. He stopped short of mentioning that food stamps protect kittens from Rethugglikkans, stop world hunger, neutralize acid rain, provide lollipops for kindergardens, prevent bad breath and male pattern baldness, generate contraceptives and abortion services for the deserving, and of course they save the whales and the unicorns.

Great, what happens when the farmer, the truck driver, the guy working in the warehouse and the store say to themselves, "Why the hell am I working when everybody's else is just sittin' on their asses getting free stuff? Maybe I'll just quit and sit here with my hand out, too." Who's going to drive the trucks or work the farms so the idiot socialist politicians can hand out goodies? Nobody, and that's when they pull out the weapons and start forcing people to work at gunpoint. Good intentions, road to hell, yada yada yada.
