Give Your Tax Cuts Back For Distributive Justice!

User avatar
Comrades! Do you make more than $250,000 a year?

Are you disgusted by the extension of the Bush tax cuts?

Don't you hate having to keep all that extra money?

Don't you wish there was some way to spread your unwanted wealth around, yet you lack the necessary apparatus to have it taken from you and redistributed to those with greater need, via the all important middleman who will take care of such petty little details for you?

Then we have just the thing for you! Three Yale professors, their toady little protégé, and a webmaster working out of his mom's basement have put together the perfect site to help redistribute your unnecessary wealth!

The website number is https://giveitbackforjobs.org/

I don't know what it does for jobs, but maybe they picked that domain name because https://www.shakedownsocialism.com was already spoken for.

Nonetheless, I'm very impressed since two of the professors, according to their bios on the website, are into something newfangled—or maybe it's just relabeled after being unfairly discredited by the right wing noise machine—called “distributive justice.”

Americans who have the means should refuse to surrender to Senate Republicans. We should act, together, to give back our Bush tax cuts, by making donations to organizations that promote fairness, economic growth, and a vibrant middle class. GiveItBackforJobs enables joint action, by all visitors to this site, to redirect our Bush tax cuts to the wise and just programs that our government would promote if it had not been hijacked. As more and more Americans do so, GiveItBackforJobs will begin to replicate good government policy, outside the government and free from the grip of Senate Republicans. We can, in this way, begin to redeem candidate Obama's promise that “we are the ones we've been waiting for.”

Why should you write a check directly to The Salvation Army, when these guys will take your money and give it to The Salvation Army for you? Plus, you'd be giving them a job to do. Hey, now I know why they call it “Give It Back For Jobs”!

Thank you Commissarka. Your post is the highlight of my day (I can't stop laughing). Quote:"to redirect our Bush tax cuts to the wise and just programs that our government would promote if it had not been hijacked." That's about the most beautiful thing I've ever read. These good Comrades need to go to work for Saint Nansky. She's been looking for someone to re-invent her image.

Like I said.....liberalism is a verifiable psychosis.

I've heard that it's been IRS policy to accept donations for the common good for many years. So if you owe $5,000 in taxes, you can send the IRS a check for $10,000 and rest assured that they will keep "the change."

I think it would be a matter of pride and bragging rights if every rich prog would give the government a generous donation above and beyond their tax liabilities.

C'mon Michael Moore, Charlie Rangel, John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Mayor Bloomberg, George Soros, yes even you Obama...ante up or shut up.

Time to give back to the Collective for all the perks and privilege you've enjoyed. Isn't the joy of unbridled power worth something?

I grew up in church. Mostly because I had a "drug problem" (my mother drug me to church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Tuesday prayer meeting, Wednesday evening church and sometimes Fridays too)

If I heard a single thing preached it was "giving freely and willingly, not with a something or other heart".

So now we have the lefty progressive communists trying to sound churchy informing us about our "gawdly duty" to give government our money to "feed the poor and whatever".

Which just grates my grits for some reason.

Oh, now I get it. The world is going to hell in a hand-basket because people aren't giving enough money to the government so that it can give it to charity. Wealth and prosperity and the raising of all boats on the waters of civilization begins with taxes. That's what lifted us out feudalism and gave us the cornucopia of the industrial age. If it wasn't for charity and taxes and government programs there never would've been an Edison or Ford or a Rockefeller and there never would've been homes with electricity or cars or cheap oil.

Leftwing Yale professors are very smart. I'm going to give all my money to Habitat for Humanity because there might be a young genius out there that needs to be indoctrinated in collectivism and grow up to figure out a way to turn the base metal of tax dollars into gold.

User avatar
Silly professors... don't they know that the honest solution is to have the government raise all tax rates to 100%?!?!?!? My Marx, think of all the Wise and Just™ programs they could crank out then!!!

User avatar
I agree with Comrade Czar Czar. If government takes everything, then they can make sure everyone is given back exactly what is fair and just. Total equality through total taxation!

I see Obama has been busy redistributing our tax dollars to Hawaii and he's not done yet, he's decided to extend his vacation before rushing back to DC to shoot some hoops.

Just consider these estimates on part of the costs of the latest Obama Hawaii trip:

* Mrs. Obama's early flight to Hawaii: $63,000 (White House Dossier)

* Obama's round trip flight to Hawaii: $1 million (GAO estimates)

* Housing in beachfront homes for Secret Service and Seals in Kailua ($1,200 a day for 14 days): $16,800

* Costs for White House staff staying at Moana Hotel: $134,400 ($400 per day for 24 staff) – excluding meals and other room costs

* Police overtime: $250,000 (2009 costs reported by Honolulu Police Department)

* Ambulance: $10,000 (City Spokesperson)

TOTAL COST: $1,474,200

Far out man! It enables "joint action".....*pfffffft*
Pass the People's Herb™ over to Pinkie.

Wow! It's like Kharma Dude..........we've come full circle man..........It's all Bush's fault. This stuff is great Laika, is it like Space Weed or something?

Pinkie, if I, as a practicing socialist actually had an income, I would be donating any taxes I had saved from the income I didn't earn to my favorite charity, Opiate of the People's Rescue Fund for Impoverished Discriminated-Against Vacuum-Tube Technologies. The OOTPRFFIDAVTT collects money from greedy capitalists who've made too much money too easily as well as people with much more money than brains and re-distributes it to needy obsolete vacuum-tube devices that feel too oppressed to make themselves useful. When I see the tears welling up in the eyes of the stupid idiots generous donors who give to this fund, it just makes my heart swell with pride at my own wonderfulness and makes me want to do even more to convince others to give even more money to this wonderful fund. I would urge the wonderful professors and any others who have been educated past the point of stupidity to give until it hurts. PLEASE! I The OOTPRFFIDAVTT desperately needs funds now because I many of those who depend upon it have run out of vodka life's necessities! Giving to this wonderful fund will indeed create jobs at the various liquor stores where I will spend most of the money.

Thank you, and may Obama bless you if and when he gets back from vacation.
