Good News About NPR

The bad news is that National Public Radio still receives taxpayer funding.

The good news is that NPR has just cut ten percent of its 1,200-member staff because its ad revenue has dropped (not because it purveys leftist propaganda and talking points as "news").

We can only hope the personnel cut will result in at least 10% fewer lies on the airwaves. If we're lucky, PBS will follow down the same path.

MORE GOOD NEWS AT NPR!

Racism, in general, and Intolerance of TRANS, has caused NPR to lay-off employees. This is exactly the time to seize more fuel for the Culture War, comrades. Keep the rage alive, and receiving a paycheck/healthcare/pension at NPR!

Storm the donation phones!! Anyone with a NPR bumpersticker is part of the systemic problem! This is our moment, comrades!!! These lay-offs must appeal for NPR listeners to provide re-education and training for new employment, or in registering for welfare services.

Even MORE good news: today is April Fool's Day!

A sad day indeed for National Public radio, all things considered. It seems the National Public Donations™ were not enough to overcome the National Public Embarrassments™. All things considered, a $30,000,000 short fall in revenue is a somewhat daunting obstacle to overcome, Particularly, all things considered, the damage it will do to Diversity™. Who knew firing 100 employees would result in a saving of $30,000,000. They're all going to lose their pensions, too! A sad day indeed, all things considered.

I listened to NPR for a little while this evening and came to a simple conclusion: every day that NPR continues to broadcast is a sad day, all things considered.
