Happy Independence Day, Comrades. It's the 249th birthday of the United States of America* and we have good reason to celebrate. As a nation, we have enjoyed 249 years of independence, liberty and rights that many other nations envy but only half-heartedly imitate and never fully achieve.

We—the People™ of the People's Cube™—love our liberty and don the guise of zealous communists in order to satirically expose the treachery of communism because we love our liberty and recognize that communism in any form or permutation is arguably the greatest political threat to a free people.

Wherever it appears, communism—like tobacco smoke—seeps into every nook and cranny, staining and dulling everything it touches, perpetually exuding an oppressive stench and eventually killing millions. And as with tobacco, many ignorantly become addicted to communism despite its toxicity and ultimate lethality.

To those who've personally experienced communism: you know it's true.
To those who've never personally experienced communism: pray you never have to.

Celebrate today, Comrades, and never fear to use your liberties to thwart those who seek to eliminate ours.

* Not to be confused with the United Socialist States of America, which progressively infiltrated the U.S.A. from at least the FDR administration to the present (even earlier if you count the early "social reformers" of New York City).

Rock on and Happy 4th, y'all!

* I'd argue it actually started infiltration and corruption of our culture around Herbert Hoover's time.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,

Give President Wilson his due.  He wasn’t named “Woodrow” for nothin’.

Oh, and the Communist Party USA, founded 1919 during Woodrow’s reign, considered Abraham Lincoln a father of communism in the United States.

They’ve been at it a while.

God Bless Tail Gunner Joe!

Yes, socialism and communism in the USA is older than the FDR administration, but FDR's administration saw the first mass influx of commie creeps into government positions that later precipitated the McCarthy-era blowback.

All the jackalope knows about communism is that when the Berlin Wall fell, parts of it were reestablished at the First George Bush Library located on the grounds of Texazistan’s Agricultural and Mechanical University. The jackalope has been held prisoner on the STASI side of this Berlin Wall Relic since 1994. So long, in fact the jackalope was beginning to forget its name, comrades.

Communists steal your soul.

Happy Independence Day!!

I spent years within the confines of the Berlin Wall and it felt kinda cozy. Plus, you could never really get lost because no matter which direction you went, you'd eventually get to the wall.

Only drawback was that there were more commies in West Berlin than East Berlin.
