Happy New Year, Comrades! 

It is a wish, not a prediction.

Today I resolve to denounce all use of the words "iconic" and "icon" unless referencing computer graphics or Orthodox Christian art.

This breaks my last New Year's resolution—made 25 years ago—not to make any more New Year's resolutions, which makes me an iconoclast.

Exceptions to my resolution extend to all logos, trademarks, objects and places associated with The People's Cube™ because of their intrinsic iconoclastic nature and value to Party™ groupthink.


If you'd care to confess share your thought crimes New Year's resolutions, this is the place to do it. May you all have a good year, Comrades.
