How the West Provokes Russia

We have been, but not in the way many people think.

I think many will be surprised by what Trump's policy will be, on Russia. Many think he will throw Ukraine under the bus. I don't believe that will be the case. So few understand Trump. He does not want to give Putin a victory in Ukraine. He knows that a cease fire will cause the collapse of the Putin's government and that will only be good for Ukraine. Putin's war machine is failing. He is weak. Trump see's that. The Russian proxy of Iran is failing in the Middle East and Putin can no longer support it or Assad in Syria. Putin's house of cards is collapsing around him and Trump sees that. Everyone does. Putin pulling out of Syria is a worse geopolitical disaster for Russia that Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The Ukrainian misadventure is going to be more of a disaster for Russia than all the American misadventures of the 20th century, combined. Russia is weak and everybody can see it. It was only through NATO finally stepping up that Russian weakness was exposed.

Yes, Russia "appears" weak because Russia actually is weak.  The Syrian withdrawal has caused some to reconsider their views of Russian invincibility.  I'm also cautiously optimistic about Trump and Ukraine.  I voted for him because there was no contest over who was best for America domestically, and his meeting with Zelensky was, as we both observed, encouraging.  If Trump does support Ukraine, MTG will be waving Ukrainian flags faster than you can activate a stopwatch.

As a side note, those soldiers evacuated from Syria will almost certainly be heading to Ukraine.  You know, killing civilians is all fun and games until you're redeployed against someone who shoots back.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,

I must attempt to simplify this for my inferior fishy intellect.

Are you trying to tell me that if a bully senses weakness, there is a distinct possibility they will pick on the shower of said weakness?  Conversely, standing up to the bully will likely lead to the bully retreating to find an easier victim?

This sounds a lot like the lessons of the grade school playground.  As a salmon, I did attend school...

Precisely.  You were well schooled.

I'm seeing a lot of reports of foreign leaders coming around to what my assessment of what Trump's attitude to the Ukraine war is likely to be. I don't say this to blow my own horn. I think it's been obvious, to those who have paid attention. Trump will not abandon Ukraine.

I denounce the elitist private and underwater "schooling" of Salmon and their fishy comrades and counterparts.

Excluding mammals and other beings from 2/3rds of the earth's surface marginalizes them/they/us to sub-standard and limited "education desert" areas extending from beaches to mountaintops, much of which is unavailable due to beet harvesting and the multiple locations requiring Party Dachas, planned parenthood offices, gulags, or other indoctrination centers.

Education is funded by harvesting ill-gotten gains from millionaires and billionaires and managed by the GOVERNMENT, and as they don't appear on any education documentation or budget reports, FISHES (plurally and collectively) are therefore non-compliant, and can expect to be caught, flash frozen, and given the "fillet treatment" (humanely, of course) pending a proper broiling with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice in the collective kitchens.

So there.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrade Ivan The Stakhanovets,

The Salmon Schools are open enrollment.  Feel free to attend any time.  Just tell the registrar that you are enrolling as a "Pink".  Pink salmon are found in almost all Salmon Schools.  At least in my neck of the woods.

The funding mechanism for the Salmon Schools is off budget.  The Party™ decided this long ago to provide "transparency" to the education system.  Would you question The Party™s methods for directing the economy and education?  After all, It's For The Children™ (including the fry).

The invitation is open.  Maybe I'll attend your proposed dinner party after you spend a term in my school.  Don't worry about the whole underwater thing.  Be unburdened by what has gone before.

PS.  Might I suggest a cedar plank be included in your meal preparation plans?  Adds to the flavor and presentation.
