It's Correct!

User avatar
Today I stumbled on a really great quote from our useful idiots, MSNBC:

"It's correct — no matter how wrong it is."

Beautiful quote, i might add. Worthy of being our new party slogan. It just sounds so...progressive. so natural. so philosphical. so....politically correct, which is the most correct version of being correct, am i correct? i think i am. wait! I dont think. i shouldnt think....umm...thoughtcrime....shoot! please don't send me to the gulag.

Anyways, it just really sums up who we are. You know we don't even need the last part. It could just be "It's correct." actuallly thats sounds even better. it doesnt even sound like we are admitting we are wrong, which, oh my stalin!, we are never wrong! because we are correct, just like the quote says. which is why we should implement it. *whew* i think i saved it. OH SON OF A BUSH!!! speaking of Bush, can i blame this on him? ....and not go to the gulag?

Two glorious comments in one short MSNBC article. You forgot, Comrade Kim Jong-Il, that "It's never too late to right a wrong."

I mean where would our war against capitalism be without tools like reparations, or affirmative action. I would only add a simple caveat to it, as well as to all progressive phrases.

"It's never too late to right a wrong ~ for the children."

That is a battle tested brow-beater capable of parrying even the most logical arguments against your favorite politician's latest schemes.

for the children? that is brilliant! it would make my quote that much more progressive!

"It's correct — no matter how wrong it is for the children."

...i have a strange feeling that it doesn't make it sound better. oh well. its still correct, and thats all that matters...for the children.

Why not just combine the brilliant Kim Jong ll's insight with Comrade Rikalonius suggestion and make it simply "It's correct For the Children™.

User avatar
"It's never too late to right a wrong."

Is that the idea behind paying the blacks for slavery and the Indians for stealing their land?

User avatar
What about my reparations Premier? Was I not enslaved by the capitalist imperialist right wing nazi's most of my life? Thank Lenin and Hillary, I have been freed to Hope and Change, for the CommonGood™!

User avatar
Oh, right you were... and so was I come to think of it....

I WANT MY MONEY!!!! I deserve what is rightfully mine for all the years of working I have had to do to support myself! I want money! Money will solve all my problems for about 10 minutes, but then I will just become dependent on the government for more money, and the glorious United Socialist States of America will become a reality!

(Please, money?)

As a Detroit area comrade puts it here in a comment on Congress' current "stimulus" plan,
I live in a house that was built in 1929. It went back to the bank andwas sold three times during the Depression. It was a very nice housewhen built and cost a lot of money for the time. The value fell inhalf, the banks were failing, people were homeless and jobless.
The sad thing is that history does repeat itself. Laissez-fairecapitalism was the motor that started the Depression. Communism, fascism, anarchism and socialism were the fad of the day in that GreatDepression, and violent revolution was a real possibility.
Liberals stopped the chaos with sensible work programs, feeding programs and putting money in the hands of real people.
I believe that capitalism, done right in an informed democracy, canwork, but we are moving to a similar chaos. We need to know history.
More correct words were never spoken.

I believe the Religion of Peace is entitled to reparations for that abomination the Christofascists call "The Crusades."

Reparations to Mother Earth for all she's suffered should be paid directly to the Goracle's carbon offset company. Ditto reparations to the Polar Bears.

Also, after Bush leaves office (provided he doesn't follow thru with his evil plot to proclaim himself Absolute Dictator of Planet Earth for Life), every last one of us should be entitled to reparations for our pain and suffering of the past 8 years.

Image Quite frankly, I could not disagree more. It was these very actions that led to the socialist society we have now, it was when the government opened a can of worms that will never be contained again. This was the birth of the Fed as Big Brother/Nanny. It was the birth of Social Security and AFDC, and from those beginnings sprang all that we know and fight. The work programs of FDR and his Big Brother government did not lift the US out of the depression, the depression did not end till WWII. But that is certainly not the mantra being taught young minds full of mush, no, they want to teach that it took the helping hand of government to heal the country. There are those who know more about this than I that argue that these programs of FDR actually did more to forestall recovery than help. But we have paid and paid the price since then. This country was founded on the proposition that you have the right to life (unless you are not born yet), liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. But no, now we have the Fed saying they are going to guarantee you these things, by stealing from those who have achieved more with their efforts. "Putting money in the hands of real people?" Hmmmm, so those who have more are not real people? They are less deserving of the money they have earned? That is just a way of justifying theft.

Comrade Commissar Pupovich, Sweetie, Baby, Poopsie, (can I call you Sweetie, Baby, Poopsie?) of course you disagree. Go back and read the money quote of this thread - "It's correct - no matter how wrong it is." The (useful?) idiot I quoted is . . . well, you know.

Anyway, why not take a double ration of vodka, pick up your shovel and do some People's Meditation out in the beet fields. Due to Global WarmingTM(correct - no matter how wrong it is)the ground shouldn't be as rock solid as it is during a normal Siberian winter. After that, why not spend a few days relaxing in line waiting for your potato ration? And remember, "real people" do not earn a living. They sponge off those that do.

What is this? An imposter daring to challenge my nephew Commissar Pupovich? As you can see "Great Stalin's Ghost," I am still around and kicking, collectivizing, purging, and being a Father to the Children of the Great Motherland.

User avatar
There must be something in my vodka; I'm starting to see double everywhere: Two Stalins, two Lenins, two folk heroes who are Democrat candidates.

User avatar
You SAW NOTHING, Commissarka Pinkie! There is but ONE hero and that is Hil...err... Obama! Obama is the only folk hero and Stalin was a nice man who handed out chocolates to all good little Communist boys and girls. End of story.

User avatar
Is there a moral to this story you speak of?

User avatar
That is so true Nancy. Uncle Stalin was loved by all the children. His line of Uncle Iosef's beet chip cookies were a must have item in every child's home. Have any of you been having problems with the reception in your tin foil helmets? I wonder what Laika is broadcasting on the swing to Obama, or is he just keeping his tail in the wind?

Imposter, eh? Why if I weren't already dead, I'd show you a purge or two! I know I died, I was there when it happened. I remember it well. I wore white. The doctors wore . . . well that's neither here nor there.

Be careful, because even though I am deceased, I'll get you my phony! And your little dog too! I'll give you the "Trotsky Treatment." And I'll be doing it for the children of the Great Motherland . . . or my name isn't Great Stalin's Ghost!

The rest of you can just move along. I'll handle this guy the same way I handled the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.

Oh no, which Stalin is Stalin, and which Stalin will be stallin' for a break in the action to run away? So many confusing stuff....

Confused, Premier Betty? Perhaps you need Stalling.

Only a true (dearly departed) uncle to the people would offer advice like that to alleviate the confusion caused by someone claiming to me - me, DO YOU HEAR ME? - ME!

User avatar
I... I don't know what to think.... Usually someone tells me what to think, but in this situation there are conflicting "tell me what to think"-ings. I'm so confused!

User avatar
Sorry, Premier Betty, but I have no more lame puns to offer. You're on your own . . . well, except for the secret police who will be watching and reporting on your every move.

User avatar
So... many... conflicts. First it's over who will win the Democrat presidential candidate, and now we must decide who is the real Stalin. Good thing Sweden is nice this time of the year.
