So, the young man must have scoped and sighted out the area beforehand, like an experienced shooter who channeled old corporal Zunika from the sniper school at Camp LeJune and through past life experiences knew that he wouldn't be discovered quickly by those 5'8", 150lb heeled DEI Secret Service Agents on that rooftop, checked out his line of fire, then the day of the rally he drove up in a small compact car, with materials left in his car to make a bomb, (maybe at a later date), used a long ladder that somehow magically appeared or was conveniently stored nearby, bear crawled up the building with a rifle on his back, calculated that the 6 o'clock sun would be in the Secret Service Snipers line of vision as well as noting that a tree or a group of trees would also block some of their vision mostly due to where they were placed on their rooftop, got down in the prone position, calculated windage, and started shooting with the with a weapon, (cue up the assualt weapon verbage) that his father had purchased 11 years ago. And now, all of this and the Secret Service will be investigated by those world famous great crime sleuths, Christopher Ray and Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Even an episode like this would be a stretch from a Jack Reacher novel!

I too have questions about the "event" that I have not heard answered.  There was a gap of more than 40 seconds between the time counter sniper personnel observed the shooter pointing his weapon at a Law Enforcement Officer and when the shooter was dispatched by the counter sniper personnel.  The shooter is reported to have had the opportunity to fire at least 6 (allegedly) aimed shots at the Presidential Candidate.  Maybe as many as 8 shots.  My questions are: 

Was the order to fire withheld from the counter sniper personnel? 

If so, who withheld the order? 

And finally, why was the order withheld? 

One would think the action of pointing an "assault weapon" at a Sheriff's Deputy would be enough for a green light.  Not in this case.  The shooter was allowed to re-acquire his target and fire multiple (allegedly) aimed shots.  It appears that only when the Presidential Candidate was safely under cover was the order to dispatch the shooter given.  We will NEVER see transcripts of the USSS radio traffic.  I guess I'll get used to the crickets chirping.

This simply displays how diabolical Trump and his MAGA supporters are. I mean, if someone can fake their own suicide, by shooting themselves, twice, in the back of the head, there's no telling to what lengths Trump, and his MAGA allies, will go to to (references to nuclear security officials in tutus is coincidental) destroy Our Democracy™. Comrades, the threat has never been more dire. I'm just glad that I have access to the satellite embassy of Tractor Barn #51.
