Michelle Bachmann To The Extreme

User avatar
Congresswoman Bachman impales herself upon Pat Robertson's sword as she declared God's wrath upon the Obama Presidency. Right wing hate-speech blows harder than hurricane Irene upon our East Coast shores. Just as whites may not speak the word Kwanzaa (or chitlins), so Republicans may not speak the phrase "act of God". It scares the children.

You may listen to Bachman's hate filled rhetoric here. Words are defined by who says them.

I suggest you tone down such mindless rhetoric. Words are never defined by who says them; otherwise, there could be no CurrenTruth™ . The reality is more sophisticated than that.

Imagine... If words were indeed defined by whomever says them (or writes them), then there would be no need for learned judges. We would still be slaves to the Constitution, an out-moded, out-dated document. Dear Leader (AP&PBUH) could never have been anointed President and could never have redistributed so much wealth. If this were so, TSA Agents would not be authorised to issue you a "happy ending" before boarding your flight.

If words were defined by whomever says them, then there would be no need for the phalynx of press pundits to explain what people meant to say. Think of how high unemployment would be then?

First and foremost, words are defined by whomever has the power to define them and in whatever way those who are in power chose to define them.

In addition to this, words may also be defined by the recipient of the message, so long as the recipient is an overly sensitive member of an official class of people with victimhood status (victimhood status as defined by those who derive their power to define words from said classes).
