President Obama points to an example of his global economic leadership.

Saturday, 05 October 2009

US President Barack Obama has said world leaders had signed up to significant steps to secure the continuing global economic recovery and that it is he who is leading by example.

Mr Obama, who made the comments at the end of a recent trip to Copenhagen, said it was important that the world did not slide into the economic cycle of boom followed by bust.

Mr. Obama cited as an example of his leadership, that it was he who was instrumental while in Copenhagen in ensuring that a long term construction project was awarded to the city of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil lasting until 2016. Mr. Obama stated that this showed his economic policies and leadership, are not only working for the United States economy, but also for the Global economy as well. Mr. Obama was quoted as saying, "When it comes to delivering the economic goods to provide jobs and prosperity, I'm the guy that can close the deal".

Mr Obama dismissed some critics in Chicago who suggested that this construction project might be better suited for their city as, "sour grapes" and that we all have to spread the wealth around world wide and hailed the outcome of his Copenhagen trip as an outstanding success for the entire global economy.

Yes, Dear Leader may have declared "Mission Accomplished" too soon on our economic front. But this is not Dear Leader's fault. Obstructionist Republicans hinder our progress. I'm not sure how they are doing this when our Democrat Comrades control every branch of government but Republicans are a devious bunch. Their capitalist control can not be underestimated.

This is likely BusHitler's doing, sitting there smugly on his ranch in that "Texas" place, pretending to be retired. He is all cattle and no hat.

Rejoice Comrades! Dear Leader was just demonstrating the glorious post-modern wisdom of otherness as professed in his favorite book...
