A man in the southeastern Chinese province of Fujian was forced to pay a fee to a scalper in order use a toilet, reports Fuzhou-based newspaper Dongnan Kuai Bao.
The man, surnamed Wang, said that when he had an urgent need to use the restroom on March 20 at a bus station in Fuzhou, the provincial capital, he found that all the public toilets were occupied. He knew of another restroom nearby, but could not hold on any longer.
"Give me 100 yuan (US$15.85), and I will let you use the toilet," Wang heard a voice say.
