Using Executive Powers, Obama Begins His Last Big Push on Climate Policy

"The shift to a cleaner-energy economy won't happen overnight, and it will require tough choices along the way," Mr. Obama said Saturday [May 31, 2014] in his weekly radio and Internet address, previewing Monday's announcement. "But a low-carbon, clean-energy economy can be an engine of growth for decades to come. America will build that engine. America will build the future, a future that's cleaner, more prosperous and full of good jobs."

Something that many don't understand or fully appreciate about the regulatory state apparatus the Progressives built: it has altered the governing of American society to the point that a single man can rule us all. The regulatory agencies are the arms of one man to pull the strings of a marionette society.

It was bad enough when we were all pretty much on the same page in belief of human progress. The worst the agencies did was hold human progress in many areas pretty much in check, but they didn't undermine the whole edifice.

Obama says none of what he intends to do has been done before, it's all new and very scientific. In actuality his new plans, to be announced tomorrow, were tried quite recently.

One word in reply to Obama: Spain.

I can hardly wait for the day when all peoples of the world have good jobs at good wages and everything is provided free of charge by The State. Think of the good times we'll have maintaining the solar farms and wind turbines that power the government office buildings and Dear Leader's Palace!

Of course Dear Leader will propose new plans because those Right Wing Bullies, Big Coal and Big Oil are trying to destroy the climate in the most inhuman ways possible and depriving progressive politicians from the nutritional sustenance of dependent voters. Let's face it, we need stronger more progressive measures that can be taken to thwart American made Climate Change and insure a fair government regulated living standard. We should also insist upon a federally funded network of celebrities, newspapers and web sites which will predict all disasters and warn Americans how to change their lifestyles. I am quite sure with these forthcoming proposals we can all work together to achieve a family in every garage and a boot in every pot, Comrades...... Forward.

I, for one, welcome our new 100% Debt-to-GDP ratio.
