Our old friend is coming, Comrades

I saw this picture and thought about Red Square and his experiences during the Russian winters, especially in Stalingrad back in '43.

The snow definitely shoveled me last winter,
I spent many days looking like the above photo of Comrade Nicholson
...so far this year, so good.

Comrade Krasnodar,

You have been spending too much time in the paint shed, sniffing the thinners as though they were a vintage wine.

If he was in Stalingrad in 1943, he would not be old enough to have any solid recollections of the suffering inflicted by the German army.

When the next purge starts, you may want to put your head on a swivel and stay within your gulag., and keep an Obaminator handy at all times.

Be especially careful of those who identify themselves as "information specialists".

Silly Tooorisky...he used someone else's time machine ! He had his own T-34, you know, with his name painted on the turret.........

This is the time of the year when I miss the late, beloved ex Mr. P.

(the "x" is for discretion. Beloved, late ex Mr. P was a cutup who loved to cut up and run naked but it is not something that not everyone wants to see. Stalin knows, I did not!! but for 40 years of telling him!!!!! . . . but I digress)

Comrade Krasnodar,

I was not aware you had such impecable, photographic evidence to back up your [fairytale]
claims.

One does not speak unequivocally off the cuff about events of such magnitude,

I will put 2 coats of wax on your vehicles.

By the look of things, the ex Mr. P was. nature's way of saying " Do Not Touch".

Ahem. Thank you. Dear Leader Red Square was in Stalingrad in 1943. He stood off an entire column of crack Nazi troops by reciting some of Obama's more impassioned speeches. Stunned by the revelations of the future glories of Socialism, the Germans surrendered en masse.

How do I know this? I was there too. It's that whole "Commissar of Time" thing going on Comrade. Now say a dozen hail Obama's, turn in your beet and vodka rations for the next three days, and report to the nearest rail platform for a trip to reeducation kamp.

I know you were there as well, Colonel...........there was 7.62 all over the place !

Fraulein,

Is that Mr. P doing his "snow angel" impersonation in that picture?
