Shortage of beets forecast for gulag California

This is glorious news for comrade Newsom in his glorious war on capitalism.

Major Calif. food processing factory closing, leaving state after 78 years

This summer’s sugar beet harvest could be the last one California ever sees. In April, Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative, the owner of the Spreckels Sugar Company factory in the Imperial Valley, announced plans to close the 78-year-old facility. The news comes as a devastating blow to the Southern California region, as it will mean the loss of more than 700 local jobs, reported KPBS-TV.

If capitalism may be loosely defined as you keeping most of your money and deciding how to spend it, and the varying degrees of socialism as the government keeping more of your money and deciding how to spend it, it should be plainly obvious which is best for the Unwashed Masses™.

What the rest of the nation needs to learn is that money is best left to those who know best what to do with it - I hardly need to mention that I speak of the Inner Party™. The very idea that the Unwashed Masses™ are even capable of rational thought is laughable. Left to themselves, they would improve their standard of living, decide where and how to educate their children (who belong to us), and would begin to harbor dangerous thoughts like how they could manage without our benevolent supervision. No. The Unwashed Masses™ must be protected from such dangerous thoughts. If we don't have a large enough power grid to support them, they must share one another's misery with rolling blackouts. If they can't find "work," they must thank us for freeing them from wage slavery and go on public assistance which is funded by The Rich™.*

By The Rich™ we of course mean the other rich people, not the selfless laborers for the Common Good™ who make up the Inner Party™.

Comrade Gavin stood firm against the Bourgeoisie Bed, Bath, and Beyond because they refused to share their ill gotten capitalistic gains with the deserving Proletariat that Gavin vigorously defends
