I knew that the Simpsons have been on Russian TV for a while, but now they also have a Russian website, drink vodka, dress funny, and impersonate Russian classical paintings by Repin, Vasnetsov, and others. See for yourselves.

Interesting... though I fail to see the point of it. Although I can't find The Simpsons on satellite TV. So instead I have been having to watch Futurama instead.

I cannot decide is the Simpsons is brilliant or slightly subversive. "Doh" has made it into the vocabulary of The Spectator as have casual references to Homer. American pop culture is now the world's linga franca.

This Commissar is a huge Simpson's fan, and would love to see more about this Russian version. Do they have different shows made for the progressive motherland? I went to the site, but of course, that is one of my weaknesses.... not being able to understand the most progressive language ever known to man. To answer Commissar Theocritus, of course the Simpson's is a most progressive show. One only need consider the accurate manner in which the capitalist money grubbing Burns is shown, making millions on the slave labor of common proles like Homer. Then there is Lisa, a good progressive girl that values education and fighting for the the globe's very survival from global warming, the repressive nature of capitalist society on a free thinker like Bart.

Then there is the South Park issue which pays homage to The Simpsons, who have done everything before.

About that Viagra ad on the Russian Simpsons website . . . do I recognize the ladies <cough> of The View slobbering over Nansky Peloski's husband?

Hmmmm, an interesting and progressive article you have their Pinkie. I wonder, has Commissar Theorcritus met this Mr. Pelosi on one of Nancy's many visits? I would imagine Bruno would have a fit if so. Great Stalin's Ghost, I get the willies just trying to imagine the scene there.... Nancy, the Many Titted Empress, Bruno, the Hildo, Sen Murtha watching the whole thing... Oh Lenin... let me get this scene out of my mind! The destruction, the humanity....

I have it on good authority that Ms. Peloski propagated by cellular division like a planarium worm. Mr. Pelosi is a beard.

And, Pup, I blush to admit this, but in European circles it's assumed that a man sleeps with his secretary, and I'm sure that Meow has designs on Helen, or had before she slept with Mrs. Paul's fish sticks and the Amana Radar Range and there is that tart Lupe, always spreading it around.

I don't stray from my back yard, for I keep Bruno on a tight leash. I know where he's been and what he's been up to. Our Many Titted Empress gave me some wonderful lessons in discipline and Bruno can testify to their effectiveness.

In 2008 the rest of the world will too. I just hope that there is enough first-aid cream.

I understand completely about men sleeping with their secretary.... of course this lowly Commissar continues that fine tradition even though the only secretary he has is his computer. Now due to some completely non-progressive imperialist over lords where I am currently forced to slave away at for 40 hours a week (40 hours! 40 hours! It's not right Commissar!), I am not allowed to sleep with my virtual secretary there. But when I get home... oh my... Yes darling, let me tickle your sleek keys... feel those electrons and photons flow around and through my wanting body.... Oh Lenin! Oh Lenin! I'm computing.....

Can we have a peek at your virtual playmate or is he/she/it too shy and may get embarrassed by such comments as "Get a load of that hard drive!" or "Are those multimedia readers real?"

User avatar
Red, actually it is Bruno who fancies a hard drive and is very glad that the floppy disk has become passé. Now I type this on a 17" MacBook Pro. Not that I need the processing power of 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, but size does matter.

And I have gone all the way in terms of diversity. My printer has seven colors of ink, which is six more than the Reverend Jesse Jackson really wants.

User avatar
Red, I am needless to say hesitant to reveal more graphic pictures, but I will show the Pup engaging in a little foreplay....
