Summer of Solidarity

User avatar
Two years into the Obama administration, we have escalated the war in Afghanistan, murdered the Freedom Fighter Bin Laden, bailed out evil corporations, and now we have all sorts of Tea Partiers in Congress who we can't even lump into a single group to attack.

The Party had two years of controlling Congress and the White House, and yet all we got was a poorly implemented attempt at compulsory universal healthcare. Seriously. Where was all the rubber stamping when the rubber stamping was good?

Enough I say! It is time to gather our downtrodden union sisters and brothers, oppressed non documented migrant laborers, poverty stricken inner city youths, and wrongfully incarcerated drug dealers. Together, we will march on the streets, waving our Red Banners in a massive show of force! No unjust window will be safe, no clean park will be left clean, no free union sponsored lunch and bus ride will be left unattended! Government workers will suffer a massive attack of sick days, and sympathetic doctors will hand out notes legitimizing their excuses. Yes comrades, it is the Summer of Solidarity!

Most excellent comrades! Where will such marching take place? I move that we march as one, in an obvious place designed to show our support for Dear Leader. Uh, Miami! no that would be too hot, woudn't it. The evil capital Milwaukee? the great city of Chicago? Detroit?

Detroit would be a great choice, Comrades; the unions here are restless and need our support there and in the great Kapital of the Republik of Michigan, Lansing. In the meantime, Detroit is a lovely model for the effects of 40 years of progressive politics including generaous entitlements, and a swell skyline:

and friendly, safe neighborhoods:

And...ooh! looks like Franknfurter and crew's craft has arrived from Transsexual, Transylvania!!! They must have heard of those great movie subsidies the state is handing out. A Rocky Horror sequel??? What fun! Can I be Magenta?

Say, isn't that Michelle Malkin's missing cousin? I dunno, they all look alike to me.

Oh I hope so, we need a summer of solidarity. I really really miss all those marches in the streets back when Bush was president. We need to get out in the streets this summer and demonstrate about something and get some fresh air... It's pretty dull when our guy is president, we have to behave too much.

Only an old, former mechanic would notice this, but on the cart are flathead straight 8 cylinder engine blocks. Probably in the 1920's

If anybody cares....
