In a clear gesture of goodwill, the Taliban leadership has commandeered 2 Boeings, filled them up with American refugees, and sent them to New York city. The white house is happy that their soft approach and respectful dialogue now finally bears fruit. White House spokespersonx Psaki explains:

"The Taliban where undoubtedly moved by our warm and polite calls for civility and cooperation. We see now that our approach is so much better than all that toxic masculine posturing by Evil Orange Man. We will await the arrival of the Boeings with a special ceremony at the top floor of the One World Trade Center. President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and all important members of the CIA will attend, as will general Mark Milley. We also invite the entire white house press corps. Except for those hardball question people from Fox and Breitbart, they can't come."

When asked where the Boeings will land, a representative of the Taliban told flight controllers not to worry about that part of the trip. What a gentleman!
