When Hippies grow Nuts

User avatar
EMBEDDED IMAGE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

There are two types of Hippies/Hooligans, those who live off others (Socialists), and those who live off-off others (hyper-Libertarians).

The first class we are used to by now, since they now run the Senate and the White House, as well as Academia, Hollyweird, and all of Europe.

The second class we almost never see, since they literally fell of the grid more than 40 years ago never to be heard of again, until recently.

The Last Frontier: Meet the Kilcher Family

From the way things are going, Type 2 Hippies may be the last survivors when the Gloяious Woяld of Иэxt Tuэsday™ gets fully implemented.

When everything fails, send yourself to the American Siberia.

Comrade. You neglected to include the media. To a large degree they run - or at least greatly influence - everything.

Pardon my ignorance Comrade, but what is the difference between the Hollyweird and the Media?

Media gives the people what is good for the people, as determined by those best equipped to decide what is good for the people. No more pure example of gloriously progressive institutionalization exists.

How relaxing and comforting to delegate such important decisions to those more competent.

Comrade Jibaro, as a former resident of the People's Republic of Los Angeles, Santa Monica subdivision, I would say that "Hollyweird" connotes the entertainment industry. In fact, I remember when Alice Cooper put up the $ to fix the Hollyweird sign so it didn't say Hullywod anymore. Myself, I'd grown fond of it saying Hullywod.

One could argue that the "news" is little more than entertainment as well, but it tends to be a little more New York centered, as it were, if you will.

Hence the distinction. But it could be that my Jiffy-Lobo™ is wearing off.

I'm not sure what brand of toilet paper I should purchase. Will they help with such decisions?

Type 2 Hippies. That has a certain........STD ring to it.

Granola Ground Nuts? Nah, I don't see it. Unless you include the Birkenstock grinders. Now, we have something going.

Words are so important. Results, NOT.

I know I am less equal than others here, but I don't see any nut trees or bushes, I only see a commrade without a shovel sitting down and being a lazy capitalistic pig!

As to "being off the grid" is nothing more than a fairtale what with commrade obombya's drone wars and fine russian satalites being able to peek at you day or night, above ground or below, in clear weather or storms, this myth just distracts the peasants from their toils, and an unused shovel is a sad shovel and leads to distractions like this one, so I DENOUNCE commrade Jíbaro and I humbly await the inner circle's approval to re-educate or punish you.

Toilet paper is available?

Comrade Phuzzy,

Brand?? Not necessary to bolster kapitalist coffers. I prefer the red ones, but remove other debris before using!

What luxury! You're obviously more equal than I - we're only allowed to use (and reuse) stinging nettles and poison ivy in our gulag. I still feel privileged that we're allowed to sharpen our shovels once a year. Digging beets is so much easier with a sharp shovel...

Of course, the people's choice endorsed by Warren Buffett.
