On the Lake Michigan shoreline
To start riots with a vengeance
They didn't waste no time
Black business among others
Were the best places around
But with Molotov cocktails
Burned the place to the ground

They burned down the Justice house
It died with an awful sound
Police squads were running in and out
'resting kids in the crowd
When it all starts over
They'll have to find another place
Cos this town was all burned out
It seems this was all about race

Most damage was done in the downtown
It was burned out left for dead
But then the local fire trucks were just outside
Putting out fires made there
Took a few Bud Lights and a few hair dreads
And Big Screen TV sets
No matter what they loot out of this
