Wokestock

Hell, I came upon Woke CHAZ, “Oh, God”
He was blocking across the road
And I asked him, what t’Hell are you doing
This he told me
Said, I'm Woking down to Portland’s town
I'm Woking to join in a terrorist band
Wokes going to camp out on your land
Wokes going to try an' beat some souls fo’free
Wokes are nutcase
Wokes are emboldened
Wokes hate billion year old carbon
And Woke’s got to take Wokeness
Back Rousseau's jungle
Then can I Woke beside you
I have come here t'release The Smaug
And Wokes’ll feel like good Prog, “Is something burning?”
Well maybe it’s Joe Biden’s time this year
Yes, or maybe sniff Kamala, man
Wokes don't know Marx Woke them
But Wokes own life is worth nothing
Wokes are nutcase
Wokes are emboldened
Wokes hate billion year old carbon
And Wokes got to get Wokeness
Back Rousseau's jungle
Wokes are nutcase
Wokes are emboldened
Wokes hate billion year old carbon
And Wokes got to get Wokeness
Back Rousseau's jungle
By the time CHAZ gets to Wokestock
Wokes burned $40 million $trong
And everywhere there was crime and confrontation
And Wokes dreamed they crewed some bombers throw some flames
Shooting shotguns in the sky
Destroying some citizen’s lives
To burn our nation
Wokes are nutcase
Wokes hate billion year old carbon
Wokes emboldened
Taught in Marx devil's bargain
And Wokes got to get Wokeselves
Back Rousseau’s jungle
Trump!, Trump!, Trump!, Trump!
Find the cost of freedom
Buried in our Land
Donald Trump will sweep past Joe
Lay Woke rioters down.

I think a fundamental rule for political song parody humor is that it needs to flip lyrics that are familiar to the listener and the use it as a weapon against things the listener dislikes. The more a person loves a song (or loves to hate a song in the case of the Cheese Rule) the stronger the reaction If I've never heard the song before, I'll have no gut reaction to it at all
And that would be the case for many of your recent songs, Auntie P. None of us cranky old boomers recognize them. But that may be a bad thing in that we aren't reaching a new younger cohort of potential converts. And perhaps you are

But a tabula rasa comrade brain is open for immediate reeducation - as comrade hasn't been educated before.
'pelipsky wonders if a comrade, say like hears, Press Bitching is the reeducated lyrics imprint of more beet pressure on a blank comrade's brain, than previously educated comrade's brain?
Plus, according to nephew too young to actually 'know', but loves music, told Auntie 'p that John Durham's Tune had him at those echoing Bunnymen - while not really 'knowing' what John Durham's got going on.
Now, he knows what KKKorrect - both ways!
Is good?

'pelipsky knows...Instant Karma can be good, but good ol' fashioned Karma needs to be shaken and stirred up in agitation every now and then.
