We're all Progs here. We should celebrate the achievements of our distant Soviet Comrades.

To this end I feel compelled to point out some misinformation and distortion in The People's News Article that begins "Nothing to See Here... etc". (Excellent work on reinforcing the myth about the invasion of Poland)

Germany was not alone in raping Poland in 1939. The Nazis and the Soviets signed the Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact in August 1939. This treaty divided Poland between the two glorious Socialist/Communist States. Both nations were supposed to kick off the invasion on September 1. The Nazis quickly produced "provocation" and began on time. Just like Germans would. The Soviets delayed their invasion until September 17. Ostensibly to better prepare their forces but more likely to allow the Nazis to wear down the majority of the Polish forces. It then took the Soviets 19 days to occupy their share of Poland with token resistance. The Nazis carried the heavy load. In the end the Soviets did their fair share of raping Poland.

I find it appalling that the part the valiant Soviet Union took in starting WWII is not taught, let alone mentioned. Really, the average Prole knows that Germany invaded Poland, but it comes as an utter shock that the Soviet Union also played a part in this glorious chapter of history.

Maybe Vlad should have convinced Germany to invade the Ukraine first to soften them up for the Russians? 

I await denouncement.

Sometimes reading The People’s News can be such a a down and outer. Pillage and RAPE —-can that term be written on a police incident report, or,carry any significance if it were? Just wondering makes a comrade all down and outer civilization, sometimes.

Thank you, Comrade Salmon. An alteration to Current Truth has been implemented and the subversive rascal who wrote the article is now in a drafty cattle car headed for a borax mine, still screaming your name as the train departed the station. Also, a typo was fixed.
