CBP Flyer Celebrates "Black Resistance"

User avatar
The Privacy and Diversity Office at U.S. Customs and Border Protection gave a theme to their celebration of 2023's Black History Month, and that theme is "Black Resistance in the Past, Present and Future."

Townhall obtained a copy of CBP's flyer:

CBP BHM 23.jpg
The word cloud on the flyer includes names and images of racially divisive personalities Maxine Waters, Colin Kaepernick, Malcom X; police-hating Black Lives Matter; and the names of Trayvon Martin, George Floyd and Michael Brown, each of whom instigated their own deaths with criminal behavior that some attempt to characterize as noble resistance.

This year's theme was selected by the PDO along with local Diversity and Inclusion Program Committees and the Association for the Study of African American Life and History—not one-sided at all.

Funny how Diversity and Inclusion always results in Division and Exclusion and serves no purpose other than to agitate and cause resentment among all parties involved.

Such GLORIOUS propaganda dissident Public Service Safety posters must be distributed everywhere found and removed as they run counter to Current Truth™ and the Party™ Line!

Maybe 12 years ago, ‘pelipsky attended a forum at a certain university here in Texazistan featuring a black pastor whose church operated a very successful tutorial program in some hell hole community, possibly Detroit. As ‘pelipsky sat in the very plush theater, the horned lagomorph chatted with black students attending the prestigious university. “Where are you from? What are you studying?” It was very congenial conversation, then the lights were dimmed and the presentation began.

These same students turned into mocking cynics shouting down the black pastor. They sat there in complete privilege deriding the work of the tutorial program for children not born in a safe middle class community with successful public education system.

This was all done for extra credit in their Univerity level Black Studies Class.

That taxpayers are on the hook for the Professor’s salary and tenure process defies logic, as well as demeaning of the purpose of a State University. Paying for our own destruction is very expensive.

I'm surprised it doesn't include convicted cop killer JoAnne Byron and convicted kidnapper/torturer Ronald Everett.  Several displays and shirts I have seen here in the government school system that I teach at do include them.

Are they not the paragon of the resistance?

Yeah, they left out Angela Davis, Huey Newton, H. Rap Brown, Maulana Karenga and a lot of other "resistors" that I suppose they couldn't find room for.

I am ashamed to have properly named dead-named Maulana Karenga and Assata Shakur.  I must be more sensitive to the feelings of cop killers political refuges and violent torturers of young women esteemed professors at major universities.

I have shovel in hand and warm clothes.

Not so fast. Dead-naming is a tool of resistance. Grab you hoe and get back to the beet field.

RE: Who could forget Wesley Cook and Vincent Leaphart? Or their aliases?

While we're at it let's remember Philadelphia Police officers Daniel Faulkner and James J. Ramp.

The afternoon of MOVE Part II (when Leaphart, AKA John Africa met his end) I was driving down one of the parallel streets west of Broad Street from Temple University to I-95 to head south. Didn't really know what was going on yet, but things were starting to get ugly in SW Philthadelphia. Crowds gathering on the corners, blocking traffic, pushing on my Nissan pickup, lots of shouting. An enormous front end loader with a police escort making it's way south...... Fun times.

After Mayor Wilson B. Goode bombed Osage Avenue, the posters started to appear all around the Temple campus. They showed the silhouette of the helicopter with the "black bag" bomb dropping below it, and proclaimed, "Philadelphia IS South Aftrica! Fight the Temple-Town Threat!" Like I said, fun times. It's worse now. These days I don't go near Philly if I can help it.
