Black Revisionist History Month: Boo Hoos & Backfires

User avatar
What if you took a great story about a dynamic band of warrior women led by a strong female king (usually called a queen, but whatever) who fought off White slavers in the 19th century and you decided to make a spectacular movie out of it...

…but the historical fact is, those warriors and that king were just fighting the competition because they were slavers, too?

THE SLAVERY THING.jpg

SIMPLE: you just leave out that part and find a choreographer who can make the women look as if they can fight like ninjas from Wakanda and you end up with an Oscar-winner, right?

Uh, no.

The Woman King director Gina Prince-Blythewood wasn’t counting on the fact that ultra-woke Hollywood wasn’t going to go for a film that glorifies the people of Dahomey, who were notorious slave traders.

And now (boo-hoo) Gina is mad about it and claiming the AMPAS conspired against her and other Black females because systemic racism.

This is how woke history backfires. Alter history to hide embarrassing facts but the facts are too egregious to ignore, then your fabulous motion picture becomes radioactive among the woke.

You may try to impose equality or equity but nature always seeks equilibrium.

Now do it with Disney's "The Proud Family" reboot!

The Left controls every major institution in America: mainstream media, the academy, administrative government, Hollywood, Big Tech, etc. So if "institutional racism" really did exist, whose fault would that be?

PROGG OFF: Lets not even start about the fact that these warriors were wonen, which ranks right up there with the Amazons as pure myth. Women are smaller, with a little about 55% of a given male's upper body strength plus a huge disadvantage in reach. How does that translate into dominance when it comes to fighting with spears and knifes?

I tend to agree with most of what you wrote except that the Amazons were less a myth and more a shoddy analysis of history. Based on unearthed burial sites and interpretation of ancient writings, they existed in Scythia (the steppes north of the Black Sea).

African "Amazons" are a myth based on groundless speculation.

New book argues that race is central to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel [and that he may have been Black.
A lot of flights of fancy there. Either that or an attempt at cultural appropriation (or both).

That's why there's Black Jesus, Black Hannibal, Black Beethoven, Black Alexander Hamilton, Black Peter Ustinov, Black Alexandre Dumas and Black Pharaohs. All you need is a hint of sub-Saharan genetics and you get to claim them as non-White. [Pay no attention to the "Out of Africa" theory, though.]

Pedagogically these films are of a much broader project of replacing civil society with a martial society. A martial society is not to be confused with a disciplined military. That’s not what I mean. A martial society is the antonym of civil society. The martial society are an army society of tribal caliber. A warrior mentality - not a civil mentality. A civil society is beyond their primitive comprehension.

Civilization is devolving back to martial society.

That’s interesting Choir Director Margaret. Especially in the visually impaired vision on the horned lagomorph. ‘pelipsky had to train self to see The Bat and not the gold mouth when Batman rebooted. For some dyslexic reason, the Colonel’s meme read, “Litter Alley Hitlers” which is closer to the gang of martial society you’re singing about, Margaret.
Senator John Fetterman’s malpractice of mayoral duties was because he is a Litter Alley Hitler, instead of Abraham Lincoln.

Whoever made up the "rule" that Black people can’t be racist because they don’t have the power to systemically oppress didn’t understand that he doesn’t get to just make up a rule or that the rest of are somehow obligated to follow it.

First, It’s not a rule, it’s an excuse. It falsely tells Black people that they are without sin (have been oppressed) and thus should feel free to cast stones (speak and act with overt racism against real or imagined oppressors without fear of reprisal). It is a bogus license to indulge in racism without being called out for racism.

Next, it wrongly redefines racism to include oppression as a vital component. Oppression exists both in the company of and the absence of racism. Racism is simply subjecting an entire class of humans to negative prejudicial thought or treatment based solely on skin color or other racial characteristics.

Lastly, it's a fact—not a rule—that anyone who subjects an entire class of humans to negative prejudicial treatment based solely on skin color or other racially immutable characteristics is a racist—no special dispensations, no exceptions.

The Reductionism I mean isn’t reducing down to essences to form intellectual concepts. Reductionism is also the name of the philosophical position that the whole is the sum of it’s physical parts. It is a very concrete-bound way of understanding the world.

Reductionism is a way to avoid getting into the weeds by getting into other weeds to arrive at a conclusion that was apparent from the start.

It can be described as under-thinking by overthinking.

Reductionism is why Kamala Harris was sent to Central America to find the root causes of mass illegal migration rather than halting 1.2 million migrants from illegally surging across an obviously open U.S. southern border..

Reduction may facilitate post facto philosophical pondering over a topic, but it too often relies on a sum of post hoc ergo propter hoc minor conclusions that lead to a fallacious whole of a major conclusion. Like blind men who've never encountered an elephant.

Critical Race Theory is calling everything racist if you want to control it, until you control it. That’s really what it is — calling things racist until you have it under your control..

Critical Race Theory is a fundamental belief that the organizing principle of society is racism that benefits white people. They call it “systemic racism” that was allegedly created by white people and embedded into societal structures — like law, especially law, but education, and all of the other institutional structures that hold up society and shape society.

So racism is a feature of the system itself, and has to be critically examined using critical theories to identify it and challenge it, and ultimately, to reject it fundamentally by creating a full social and cultural revolution that will be—conveniently enough—led by the only people who actually understand this, namely, Critical Race Theorists themselves.

The goal is to dismantle the United States as the United States—the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and everything that flowed from that—and to replace it with a regime rooted in Critical Race Theory analysis.

The most significant person [who laid out the path to where we are now] is going to be Kimberlé Crenshaw. People often start by mentioning Derrick Bellher mentor at Harvard—and Derrick Bell wrote ‘Race, Racism, and American Law’ in 1970, which is probably the first real text, but Kimberlé Crenshaw is really the person who codified it.”

—Dr. James Lindsay, mathematician and author

Of course she was.

We have truly arrived a point in society when a tin-foil-hat conspiracy theorist gets high honor from an ivy league diploma mill.

Kimberle' Crenshaw's come a long way on Public Health, comrade.

"Public health" definition, as per Charles-Edward Amory Winslow
His definition, still relevant at the twenty-first century, was published in1920 in Science: "Public health is the science and the art of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting physical health and efficiency through organized community efforts for the sanitation of the environment, the control of community infections, the education of the individual in principles of personal hygiene, the organization of medical and nursing service for the early diagnosis and preventive treatment of disease, and the development of the social machinery which will ensure to every individual in the community a standard of living adequate for the maintenance of health. (...) I look to see our health departments in the coming years organizing diverse forms of sanitary and medical and nursing and social service in such fashion as to enable every citizen to realize his birthright of health and longevity."

Getting the community insanitized, one white comrade at a time.

Another Race Card embarrassment...
tennessee-democrat-1.jpg
Short version: last Thursday, Tennessee Democrat State Rep. Justin J. Pearson decided to mark his first day on the job by defying the male dress code (coat and tie) by wearing a dashiki on the Tennessee House floor to pay “homage to the ancestors who made this opportunity possible.”

When a Republican pointed out that Pearson was out of order, Pearson jumped on social media:

"We literally just got on the State House floor and already a white supremacist has attacked my wearing of my Dashiki. Resistance and subversion to the status quo ought to make some people uncomfortable."

But, ironically, the dress code was put into place and strictly enforced by the late Lois DeBerry, a well-respected Black Democrat who participated in the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Tennessee House Republicans responded to Pearson on Twitter that House decorum rules were unanimously approved and added, “If you don’t like the rules, perhaps you should explore a different career opportunity that’s main purpose is not creating them.”

Hopefully, Pearson got the message and will show up at the next session in a suit and tie instead of another costume "to subvert and resist the status quo to make "some people" uncomfortable."

Don't get me started on Sheila Jackson-Lee, the Ranee of Racism, the Dowager of Division, the Queen Bee of Equi-T. Her latest antic is the introduction of a bill to fight "White supremacy" by attaching criminal charges to certain forms of "hate speech," in order to "prevent and prosecute white supremacy inspired hate crime and conspiracy to commit white supremacy inspired hate crime."

That includes a person who publishes “material advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on ‘replacement theory,’ or hate speech that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-white person or group.” [The latter implying that "hate speech" is okay if directed against any White person or group.]

Putting aside that "White supremacy" is a practically nonexistant straw man used to whip up antagonism, Lee apparently has no regard for two facts:

1. The 1st Amendment's guaranteed right to free speech.

2. Nobody in government (or anywhere) can be trusted to define or identify the highly subjective term, "hate speech."

This is another attempt to amplify CRTs toxic atmosphere of hate and division, to further infringe on free speech, increase government interference with free speech and keep the CRT racism flowing.

On the topic of Georgia's plan to erect a monument to Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...

A-A 2023-02-18 at 8.53.32 AM.jpg
Speaking before the Georgia State Senate, Sen. Emmanuel Jones (D) called Clarence Thomas an "Uncle Tom," a term that Jones said the "Black Community" uses for a Black person who betrays the community.

The term, "Black Community," falsely implies that all Black people are a monolithic bloc who think, act and live alike. Obviously, that is not true, yet Democrats seldom fail to use it for its propagandistic value.

To that end, "Uncle Tom," —a pejorative originally reserved for Black people who curry favor from White people by betraying other Black people—has been hijacked by Democrats to describe Black people who don't toe the Democrat Party line (in other words, Black people who have fled the Democrat plantation).

The Democrat Party fought for slavery and Jim Crow laws, created the KKK and supported Planned Parenthood's genocide of Black babies. It implemented the multi-trillion dollar "Great Society" program that impoverished Blacks, destroyed family structures, increased crime and dependency on welfare.

The Democrat Party now has the nerve to call a great constitutional originalist Supreme Court Justice an "Uncle Tom?"  What is that if not propaganda? It is a spiteful, cynical Democrat declaration of hatred for any Black who strays from the Democrat plantation.

Dogs are racist, according the the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department back in 2013, because they bite a disproportionate number of Blacks and Latinos.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... tinos.html
But that's a case of the tail wagging the dog because a disproportionate number of crimes are perpetrated by Blacks and Latinos compared to other races and ethnicities. The numbers reflect a reality about people, not racism among dogs.

Still, some dumb ideas never die, and it seems apparent these days that Soros-backed certain prosectors and members of Black communist militant organizations have been lobbying to exempt Blacks and Latinos from prosecution for crimes altogether because equity. One way to accomplish that task is by removing tools used by law enforcement. A case in point:

For some people, the prime rule is that anything that stands in the way of the neo-communist ploy of CRT equity is racist.

One of her observations (in very [very] abbreviated nutshell): The American revolution was to the purpose of no longer being a revolution but to the purpose of forming a government. The French revolution was to the purpose of a never ending revolution.

The Left’s purpose of upending of society is not to achieve any form of government thus ending the revolution - the purpose of the revolution is to never end upending society. It doesn’t transcend itself.

So, ‘pelipsky is missing the point of Black History Month…
Cultural appropriation of white history isn’t black history. Must be missing something in way the curriculum is taught.
Presenting traditionally White characters as Black or claiming that White historical figures were black lays at the intersection of racial/cultural appropriation and Black Revisionist History. It's a twofer!
