Yes, today—September 8, 2023—really is is "National Star Trek Day," Comrades.

https://nationaltoday.com/star-trek-day/

Despite my disdain for the proliferation of phony days and months of commemoration, this one stands out as a valuable tribute to the interstellar socialism necessary to spread DIE peace throughout the galaxy (nevermind that today is also National Iguana Awareness Day).

So, with all that in mind, there is no better time than today to present an interview with Will Nguyen, "The Star Trek Communist."

Some are wondering how to celebrate National Star Trek Day. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Resist the “credit” system and pay for everything with gold-pressed Latinum.

2. Cuddle a Tribble.

3. Spray paint “He’s dead, Jim!” on local gravestones.

4. Throw an impromptu Kolinahr party, invite some Ferengi, then turn it into a surprise Marxism discussion group and see what happens.

5. Serve Ga’ak with white or rosé Blood Wine. If anyone complains, remind them that red Blood Wine is best served with Targ.

6. Tell your boss you can’t come to work because you have a pinched nerve in your neck after attending a Pon Farr ceremony.

7. Shop Amazon for a pink Dilithium Crystal mood lamp.

8. Ask Apple support if they can change the power cell on your old Tricorder 12.

9. Toss raw popcorn into the primary warp core conduit and run.

10. Go deep into the largest cave you can find and yell, “KHAAAAAN!”

11. Order a raktajino at Starbucks; video-record the reactions.

12. Write a quickie treatise on the validity of the Fundamental Declarations of the Martian Colonies as a combination of Marxism, Grange Populism, and Objectivist-Libertarianism. Submit it to the Vulcan Academy.

13. Take The Prime Directive to the extreme: the micro-ecosystems living on your skin are unaware of your existence—don't shower or bathe.

14. Bring a long chrome dildo to your job interview at the United Earth Space Probe Agency.

15. Smugly inform reparations grifters that 2038's U.N. Resolution 51 will determine that no citizen of United Earth could be held liable for the acts of their ancestors.

16. Silently fart in a crowded turbolift; giggle and say, “Wow. It smells like a Klingon breath-mint in here.”

17. Ask your bartender to make you a Sonic Screwdriver with fresh-squeezed zlim’kach, not concentrate.

Please do add any other suggestions you can think of, and always remember that Star Trek is closer than you think even if you don't notice it.

Most Equally Esteemed Colonel Obyezyana,

PROG OFF:

Even as a child I didn't like Star Trek.  That was not a popular stance, but I really didn't see what was so great about a bunch of posturing nonces mincing about the galaxy.  Really, would you let "Captain Kirk" have his way with young men you cared about?  He and Dr. Smith were two of a kind.  Danger Will Robinson!

Will Nguyen is a special kind of stupid.  He says we have "enough" to feed and house everyone.  Does he think that is just some accident?  That abundance is the natural order of things?  I think it would be awesome for Mr. Nguyen to go experience a centrally planned economy first hand for a complete 5 year plan.  Then go bivouac with the Khmer Rouge for a while as their "guest".

PROG ON:

About time Star Trek came out of the Commie Closet!

I guess that since you didn't like Star Trek, you never watched enough of it to know that Kirk was a womanizer.

In comparison, Zachery Smith manipulated Will Robinson as a useful tool to give traction to a variety of lame schemes but never did anything remotely sexual with the boy or—for that matter—with either of the Robinson girls (that would have been really creepy).

In fact, after "Lost in Space" was cancelled, Smith opened "Dr. Smith's Acting School for Pretty Boys Between the Ages of 9 and 13" in Burbank and charitably offered free room and board for aspiring young actors who passed his private auditions. What a guy!

I'd write more but it's Comrade Jackalopelipsky's job to rehabilitate reeducate the masses, not mine.

And another reeducation about work with no pay.
Second Video
1. I denounce the first video for use of deceptive editing and lack of context to give the false impression that Captain Kirk is Barack Obama.

2. The second video offers no explanation as to why—in one episode of the original series—Kirk tells Mr. Scott that he's "earned his pay."

Shatner versus Iguana Gorn:

Rematch 50 years later:

[Note: the Gorn were reimagined in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds." They are now nightmarishly fast and deadly. They're so different that only a true Trek fan would try to retcon why the 1960s Gorn was so lame.]

I seriously have to wonder if you even realize that you've posted a laughably extreme leftist video that's as oblivious to reality as Star Trek itself. And to top off it's lack of humanity, the narration was text read by a computer voice.

If there's one thing that stands out about both leftists in general and socialists as a whole, it's an utter failure to understand human nature and motivations and to think that both are as manipulatable as laboratory rats in a maze.

"Star Trek: Discovery" was an entirely liberal and leftist (the video made a false distinction between the two) production from start to finish, showcasing a forced presentation of "diversity" and homosexuality that muddled the plots in a way that Gene Roddenberry never did. Roddenberry presented diversity as matter of fact, not matter of focus, and this was completely intentional on the part of the utopian leftists who produced the show.

If you have any doubts about it, let me remind you that the show ended with the grand entrance of the President of United Earth portrayed by the very intentionally selected failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate (and part-time pornography author) Stacey Abrahms, who became a darling of the extreme left because she refused to concede her loss to a Republican and declared herself the "real Governor of Georgia" despite her resounding defeat at the polls (an action that would have dragged her into a grand jury investigation and indictment under the current Georgia Attorney General—had she been a Republican).

Stacey-Abram-on-Discovery-920x518-2758171399.jpg

"Discovery" had all the trappings of a fun science-fiction adventure series but it was hijacked by ideologues to convey philosophies and leftist propaganda that most Americans find repugnant and don't want to experience when they seek science-fiction entertainment for themselves and their children.

To it's credit, the offshoot series, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" has backed off from most of the woke nonsense and made an effort to return to the spirit of the original Star Trek, delivering adventure, mystery, wonder and humanity with little reference or regard to the pitifully stubborn ignorance of leftists and their absurd and futile causes and concerns.

Not joining the fray, but sharing my favorite original Star Trek episode. As we watched it, my Dad said, "if you join the Army you'll do this as bayonet [pugil stick] training." He was correct and those skills and training (from the Army, not Star Trek) served me well (CQB).

Of course the reeducational jackalope knew everything you saw.
Hence the have you stopped beating your wife trope of a question in ‘pelipsky’s set up comment.

Glad you enjoyed the left’s extremist laughability.

Sorry. I guess your inclusion of the word, "Has," in the initial clause threw me off.

Yes, all you say is true. Such errors occur in iPad finger pointing communication method. That, and a visual torture to read the text of a sentence written on a Klieg light.

No doubt a garbled truth is like no truth at all. WRight, Sir!

Despite it all, the video reeked of “how long have you stopped being a racist, you racist” purpose in attitude. Like Obama inciting his cult followers to get in people’s faces with the racism of the anti-racist scrip writing.

Is the classic, “So, how long have you stopped beating your wife?” attitude. It’s the AntiFa branch of Racism
conceived and produced by script writer’s to make recruits. Self gratification is not pure scientific science DIEalog about the universe. Spending any diealog talking race is time these young socialists should be running lab tests for experimental development of unknown mineral resources. !!

That’s the work they aren’t being paid to perform. Hard science labor. Seems Star Trek script writers lost the whole mission to outer space plot.

PROG OFF AGAIN:

Wow, this seems to be an emotion triggering topic.  Who knew?  As this fish is never shy about throwing irrelevant gasoline on any fire I can, I must add to my original Star Trek as a bunch of nonces mincing across the galaxy.

Captain Kirk:  All of the women / sexy green aliens were beards.
Spok:  Stoic nonce.
Dr. McCoy: Dedicated necrophiliac.  The barely disguised delight in his voice whenever he said, "He's dead, Jim."  His strong desire to get the body to sick bay so he could have some "private time" with the newly deceased.

PROG GRUDGINGLY BACK ON:

I'll prepare for the response by slathering on the mustard sauce and laying down on this nice cedar plank.  Flame on.

Most Equally Esteemed Komrade Colonel,

Meds?  That’s funny.  The meds prescribed by my diligent Komrade Doctors at The People’s Veteran’s Medical Facility are all one back order due to carefully crafted shortages created by our Betters in the Harris / Biden Administration.  Try to get some Extended Release Adderall.  Ha Ha.  The VA pharmacy messaged me to tell me that I can expect to receive my July refill in early 2024. If I’m fortunate.  The civilian pharmacy is just as helpful.  This is just one of the centrally planned medicine shortages I’m enjoying these days.  No doubt there will be no shortages of the next EUA vaccine.  I’d look at the calendar, but I’m sure it’s Next Tuesday.

Comrade, under the current dictatorship regime administration there is no "carefully crafted shortage" of anything.

As explained in The People's News last year, the nation's supply of Adderall  has—for national security reasons—merely been diverted to the White House to ensure a reliable stockpile is readily available to light up prepare the current puppet President for speaking engagements.

Just look at what happens when the dosage is increased supply is interrupted:

Or, the carefully constructed deficiency of Adderall could look like this.

This is way past Star Trek’s Deep State 9 DIEalog.

The fight scenes in the original Star Trek were hokey enough on the 24" televisions of the 60's and 70's.......when viewed on today's big-screen TVs they're downright comical. Some of those pulled punches weren't even in the same COUNTY, for Chrissakes.

The Communist Utopia aspect wasn't lost on a lot of us, even then. It's just more openly acknowledged now. One of my (much) older brothers (who still is a big Star Trek fan) came home from 'Nam when I was just a wee laddie, so between him and my father I caught my anticommunism early and honestly.

• Watch those old fight scenes carefully or slow them down frame by frame and you'll often see stunt doubles (even men dressed as female characters).

• I didn't notice any leftism until much later because I was only there for the spaceships, aliens and ray guns. Besides, I was too young to know any better and Star Trek carried the vibe of the time, when Disney and the United Nations were pushing the unicorns and rainbows of "It's a Small World After All" at the New York World's Fair, where it was made into sappy, maddening nightmare water ride-through collection of animated dolls singing that song (LOUDLY) over and over and over and over...

Komrades,

It often takes time for the true answers to serious questions to become evident like WHO won the Epic Rap Battle between a REAL explorer and a FICTIONAL explorer circa eleven years ago...............................

The winner is now obvious that it is Captain Kirk who now has September 8, as "National Star Trek Day," while Columbus Day has been cancelled and replaced with Indigenous People's Day. His statues have been ripped down and history has rewritten him as a 'racist'. What a loser.

Captain Kirk's many "close encounters" occurred while he was exploring female bodies with his tongue and "probing" them with his...well, you get the picture. For this [me too] alone he should be cancelled, yet he is still revered. Perhaps that's because a woman switched bodies with him in the final episode of TOS, thus making him a darling of the trans community.

Comparatively, Colombus was a real explorer whose accomplishments were monumental in that they brought civilization to the howling wilderness of the Americas, which were infested with slave-holding, human-sacrifice making cannibals descended from Siberians—the same sore-losers who whine about colonialism today and want "their land" back even though land-ownership was an alien concept in their cultures.

I will address "Indigenous People's Day" further on Colombus Day.
