A question for Comrades:

Is Marilyn Mosby on her way to becoming the most popular politician in America? Her most ardent fans and well-wishers say, "Hands up, don't shoot, black lives count!"

In addition to her regular duties as the Baltimore City State's Attorney who charged 6 police officers with a variety of felonies including homicide, she has appeared onstage with Prince, sat for an interview with Vogue, and as if that weren't enough, she's recently agreed to serve as guest ringmaster mistress for The UniverSoul Circus.

It is there (yes, at the circus) that Marilyn and her hubby, City Councilman Nick Mosby, will accept the "UniverSoul Circus Community Service Award for their commitment to the well-being of the Baltimore community."

Note: In an effort to prove they're "down for the struggle," PETA has suspended their regularly scheduled protest march for the "Free The Elephants" campaign during the event.

Considering that the pachyderm is a symbol of the GOP kulaks, it is surprising that PETA ever bothered with them to begin with. She really seems to have her hands full as of late, what with her upcoming appearance scheduled at the kangaroo court (BTW, has anyone seen the Kapitan?) show trial for the murderous abusive pigs of Baltimore.

Perhaps she is simply conducting an undercover fact-finding investigation before absorbing PETA's Baltimore chapter into the Prosecutor's Office: a merger to be known as 'People for the Ethical Treatment of Thugs', or PETT. This will give her a broader perspective on training the police to ethically shackle their victims, without hurting their feelings.

While she is busy, black lives are mattering all over Baltimore! Despite the slight setback, everyone is sticking to the narrative because it really is the police departments fault. See its like climate change. Drought? Climate change!! Flooding the next year? Climate change!
