While the bourgeois concept of Daylight Savings Time was on Sunday, we have the chance to do better than a mere capitalist "falling back" one hour.

Yes, Comrades! Today, Tuesday the 7th of November 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of the glorious Great October Soviet Revolution. (We shall ignore the meddling about of using Gregorian calendars for now. Time, like gender can be rather fluid, and if you don't like a date, you can change it.)

The time has come to reclaim those heady days of Revolution, and bring the civilizing influence of mob rule, rioting in the streets, summary execution, and crippling forced economic reform.

Today, comrades, we must rise up, take our red banners to the streets, burn garbage cans, smash Starbucks windows, and demand an equitable redistribution of wealth, the destruction of white male privilege, and the abolishment of meritocracy.

We must remember the struggle of our heroic socialist ancestors, and forcibly bring about a world of strict, measured and enforced equality.

So the October Revolution took place in November? I'm going to file my taxes on May 15. That'll show them.

The inferior Czarist used Julian calendar was inaccurate and poorly crafted. The heroic Soviet revolutionaries changed Russia to the superior Gregorian calendar in 1918 which is thirteen days ahead of the Julian calendar. Today, we know that because either calendar was written by white males, it is oppressive and cannot be used, but our Comrades of 1917 were not yet that advanced in thought.

Even jolly thinker Einstein, going after those waves, stood under control of the Party's Directorate of Time-Space Continuum, while conceptually travelling Moments, Intervalls, and Infinity (the results of said escapades he most equally Distributed to the pointy-headed Kollektive, in 1916).

And of course during all that, Einstein remained under the dictat of the Julian/Gregorian calendar - or, worst case, that other calendar, that one which professed the year to be 5676.
