First Trump-Biden presidential debate: what did you see?

What did you see happen at the debate?

OPEN THREAD.

User avatar
Gonna be a whole lotta fact ckecking going on tomorrow. And that's not going to be good for Joe.

I saw Biden fail to address any issues, lie about debunked stories and lie about Trumps record of achievement and offer platitudes. He certainly didn't offer anything other than platitudes.

I also saw Trump not defend his record particularly well and not finish defensive thoughts that would have helped undecided voters better understand his position.

I also saw Chris Wallace run blocks for Biden when Trump got too close to getting Biden flustered.

I also saw Biden being entirely disrespectful and it probably hurt him but that's hard to say.

I'm not sure if any minds were changed but I'm well informed so I'm not sure what effect it will have on LIVs.

Polls seem to indicate that Trump won the debate and that Biden came third behind Chris Wallace.

We'll see.

Chris Wallace entirely failed in his stated desire to be as invisible as possible.

I noticed that President Trump was hitting Vice President Biden hard and fast. Watching Trump, I determined that part of his fast combative style was to disrupt and confuse Biden. I think the strategy was an attempt to cause Biden to melt down and go zombie early in the program. I believe that many observers will count this disruptive style of Trump's as a negative. I liked it.

Biden didn't fall flat on his face--which will cause the liberal pundits to claim victory. Biden did get frustrated, combative, and angry fairly early. This drove his gaffes and confused statements up by mid debate. Near the end of the debate Biden was mentally lost, but we didn't really get to see it play out since the "impartial moderator" threw Biden a life line several times. Biden deflected, ignored and lied moderately well. He has nearly 50 years experience doing that.

Trump was fast, focused, and aggressive. He was able to put out some information on Biden's corruption and weaknesses. He easily parried accusations from both Biden and the moderator.

It was not a debate. It was more like a lion that was held back by ropes attacking a cow. The old bull was going to stubbornly fight to his death, but the men with the ropes pulled the lion back into the cage before the bull could go down. I enjoyed it. The fans of both sides will declare victory. I hope that the uninformed viewers will want to look into why Hunter was paid millions by crooked foreign powers, not that Big Tech and the media will show the truth.

Trump: Combative, sketchily1 factual, vibrant.
Jok B: Platitudinous, standard (trained over 47 years) apparatchik traits, limp.

1 b/c it's just 2 minutes, and (says T's tactic) the "bigger half" of that goes to hammer (and hopefully derail) Jok.

MSM (say model projections of Bavarian Kubicle #314):
(NOT counting CW) Biden scooped glorious second place, Trump next to last.

P.S. Of undecided (and LI) voters, those with a sparklet of sympathy or/and trust towards Trump respectively Trump's actions & results, may (in majority) have now a full spark, even a flamelet of that. Lacking said sparklet, Trump may be seen (all the more) as rude and boasty.

I saw the same thing James Woods saw.

And then some.

Behind all these endeavors is a deep seated sense of useless derived values and variables by primitive recursions from Republicans insofar as pragmatism is practically identified with the scientific methods of Democrats.

While we may take the definition of additional dyadic function to specify that value of function ( or the variables of the function introduced ) for any given set of arguments, nonetheless, the notion of defining excursions to functions whose range of derogation of reality forms the status of direct knowledge of the real world, in a sense, comes down to the process of epistemological realism.

It is the cosmic order of teleological concepts from a superior being or the attainment of a conclusion to be valid that makes Democrat thought far superior characterized by epiphenomenon depending on the constructed ontological system to this and other foundations of logic, the incurred values lie in the election of JOE BIDEN

Joe Biden blames the chinese flu and every death in the United States on President Trump. If I were President Trump I would ask Biden if he blames the head of State in England for the chinese flu in England, the same with every European country, and is the head of State in Canada to blame for it and every death in Canada, and Australia, is he blaming the head of State there for it, and every other country - is he blaming every death on every head of State of every country on earth for it in their countries?

The one country we know where a head of State actually knew about it and did everything he could to suppress the information about it until it spead all over the world was China. And what do you Joe Biden have to say about that. Nothing. Why do you say nothing about China and instead deflect blame, Biden?

That's what I would respond to Biden in debate.

I'd like to thank Paul Kurgman for those words of genuine new-frontier gibberish.

Komrade trashmouth, is that glorious functionally dyadic epistemological realism of teleological concepts out of:

  • a trashbrain?
  • a twisted generator?
  • or did you capture Jok's monologue
(while he was on electrolytic benzedrine or sumtin)?

Yes, that seemed to be Trump's strategy -

1) split Biden's voters and
2) rattle Biden to provoke him to expose himself as a nasty old toothless pit bull that he is.

A lot of questions and answers there were icebergs with the bulk of their weight hidden from sight. Trump got it and didn't let the hidden mass hit and sink him.

The demand to condemn white nationalists was one of them - a loaded "stop beating your wife" question. The "climate change" was another one.

Trump's remarks were also like that - floating the tip on the eye level, with an invisible mass hitting his opponent hard in the groin.

Biden said Antifa was not an organization but an idea. By the same logic, white supremacy is an idea, not an organization, so there is nobody to denounce. Given that to the leftist media all Trump supporters are Nazis, the media could've portrayed Trump's response as him denouncing his entire base. So by deflecting the question Trump chose the lesser of two evils. MSM headlines about a vague "Refusal to condemn" are less damaging than a definitive "Condemnation of his own voters."

Biden was clearly #3 there. An old Beta dog.

Biden used to be an Alpha attack dog - I can still see his snarl during his nasty and loutish debate with a measured and logical Paul Ryan in 2012. That could be part of the reason why the Dems chose him to stand against Trump. But next to Trump he's a confused Beta Chihuahua.

To continue with the dog analogy, Trump was like a Great Dane standing against the Skunk Wallace and the Chihuahua Biden.

Actually, Trump did denounce white supremacists. At one point when Wallace asked that question, Trump said "Sure." It was difficult to notice though because Wallace or Biden was talking over the top of him.

There are people that seem to think Biden threw the socialists under the bus at the debate. "I am the democrat party." That's just Biden blather. His campaign platform that he is campaigning on was written by the Sanders team - the Biden-Sanders manifesto - and it is the Sanders campaign and the Green New Deal.

User avatar
I've always been an undecided voter. That way, I get to be in focus groups and town halls. I get to be on TV. I get attention. I get free stuff. I get free money. Hell, I even get a free question to ask at the town halls so I don't have to come up with my own!

Now, I realize that wasn't the format last night, but it decided me all the same. For months I've struggled to come up with a reason for casting my vote a certain way, and now I have one.

I'm voting for Biden because I feel sorry for him.

That should be a headline:

CNN: Biden took a solid second place in the debate, while Trump came next to last

He-heh-heh...

Plus nice TPC(-&-real-life) punchline:
I did not have creative relations with that joke, Russia-American quip.

Instead, it was a DDR jest about the way "Pravdas" of any kind reported results of USSR versus USA competitions. Cowabunga, now even West Germany knows it! Here it is, says Googoebbels:

New rules for the future debates:

Joe Biden will stay in his basement saying things like "c'mon man!", "racist", "clown" and "Oops. I dropped a panty patty", and Trump will debate Jill Biden and the moderator.

I guess I'm flummoxed, befuddled and slightly amused all a once. Suddenly, CNN is calling this a shitshow? OK. Just curious. Where were they for the Inaugural boycott shitshow, Robert Mueller shitshow, Adam Schiff shitshow, Brett Kavanaugh shitshow, Nancy Pelosi shitshow, Impeachment shitshow, the media as lapdog Democrat propagandist shitshow, the State of the Union address shitshow, the Antifa burning down our cities shitshow, the BLM defund the police skyrocketing crime shitshow.... ad nauseam, et cetera, et cetera....

Another example of our language being enhanced by Rush.

But when it comes to the mobs we've seen, I think we're dealing with NIVs.

Also, I didn't see the debates, but I have seen the post-debate groupthink: Nobody won. The incivility was embarrassing. The voters/America lost. Trump wouldn't denounce White supremacy, the vile racist! Is this the best we can do? Blah, blah, blah.
I think this means Trump won.

I'm curious to know what I didn't see.

Questions of performance enhancing drugs aside - What steps did they go through to try and make His Humbleness Joe not come across like a mentally deficient nursing home resident?

Did they implant an animatronic system to make him face the camera and raise his pointed hand while delivering the prepared lies?

I picture A Clockwork Orange-like scene with Joe, the prepared lies being played over and over and over.

No biggie. He has been familiar with those lies for over 47 years. I bet he can plagiarize, and lie in his sleep.

You seem damn close, Komrade Joe.
Did the world planet just got a glimpse into the Mystery Lab of Manager G?

Was it indeed just that "Electrolight", a few most obvious bugs fixed, in Cleveland?

While (as secretly revealed!) the true Jok "Electrolyte" Biþen undergoes uninterruptedly his Grendelludovico treatment, until the final week of October, when "Electrolyte" - dynamic, sprightly, fit - steps into his "endkampf"?

So, I just transmitted, whereas the Lenin Medals and all that goes to our Brotherly Kollektive of DDR subversives Genossen, ja?

While we here take that beautifully colored brazen statue and (a) sell it (sans The People's Kube, of course!) to rotten Amerikkkan kkkapitalists (we tell them, it's gold, pure 120% gold!) for a yuuge bag of rubels, and then (b) buy a cauldron-full of kasha to supplement our well-seasoned beet juices.

And then, let there be dances & jubilations till October 15th (the Second Debate!).
