My good friend Yuri is running for US Congress from a Russian-speaking area in Brooklyn, NY, representing those immigrants who are sick and tired of socialism and support making America great again. (New York Congressional District 8 )

Yuri and I used to hang out together when I lived in New York. I have since moved to Florida, but we're still in touch. So he asked me if I could build him a website for his campaign. The Democrats always have better websites, he said, including his incumbent opponent, Hakeem Jeffries. I told him that was only until he asked me to build one. And that explains my week-long absence here at the Cube (if anyone noticed it).

And since western Jefferson County, Colorado got redistricted to be lumped together with Boulder, we won't see another Republican win here for the foreseeable future either.

Most excellent and outstanding website Komrade Direcktor but what are Yuri's skills at 'mean tweeting'? Shouldn't the website include some examples? The MAGA Deplorables of New York Congressional District 8 might want to know.

Ronitchka, thanks for JeffCo update. Much same here in Texazistan, where this Collective just got redistricted into Rethuglican Representative McCaul’s furnace. McCaul’s so big on Ukrainian Bio-Labs so secretly stupid, that even Tulsi's not supposed to talk about it.

Redistricting is hard on The Collective, ain't it? Just when a Collective understands the Rethuglican they have, redistricting turns the heating element to 11. And in Texazistan, in July, with not enough wind to turn a power grid, that's an iron skillet just waiting to happen.

Yuri's about page reads like the Red Wave of The Collective's dreams! Red Square, you know the best people. Thank you for your work.
