What a glorious morning full of wonder. I awoke to discover that Santa Mao answered my deepest wish and brought me a new shovel. I couldn't wait to run outside and dig a few holes in the yard just to try it out. He didn't bring me a cabbage but the fine folks at the People's Farm Collective came by and left an extra ration of potatoes and beets on the porch of my dacha. I guess there were workers somewhere who needed that cabbage more than I did so I'm glad they got what they deserved.

Wishing all my comrades (commissars, functionaries, apparatchiks and even the thought criminals) at the Cube a year of Hope and Change.
