OBAMA FIRES BACK AT ROMNEY SLUR "OBAMATAX"

"The right wing has taken to calling the Affordable Care Act the Obama Tax Act and the largest tax increase in the history of the world. This is nonsense on stilts.

"First, it's important to remember recent history. I am on record, along with many members of congress, of supporting the Affordable Care Act specifically because it was not a tax. The mandate that was in question before the Supreme Court was quite clearly and intentionaly writen to make it a penalty. For those of you that don't understand, legally a penalty is not a tax. There are only so many things that can be taxed constitutionally. A penalty lies outside that constitutional framework.

"We did not make it a tax. Justice Roberts, for his own purposes made it a tax. And it's quite obvious why he did so. Look at the political climate of the election. This has given the extreme right wing a cause célèbre. It has fired up the right like never before.

"Let me make this perfectly clear! Justice Roberts found that the mandate as written in law was unconstitutional. I don't agree with that, but disagreements on that point are now ancient history. He found it unconstitutional. By that token he should have struck it down. But instead he thought he had a tiger by the tail.

"In what is obviously a partisan political ploy, the worst most damning conspiracy in the history of the United States, the extreme right wing has used the highest court in the land to try and rouse enough anger, envy, and resentment in the American people that they will vote for their candidates.

"I did not sign the Act that was rewritten by Justice Roberts. He relegislated that Act from the bench. Congress did not pass the Act that Justice Roberts rewrote from the bench.

"The Act as it stands today is not ours. It is owned in whole by Justice Roberts and the extreme right wing.

"So Mitt Romney is playing the most ugly and vile political game in the history of this nation. By accusing me of being the architect of this "Roberts and the right wing Tax," the largest in the history of the world he is being more than dishonest."

There was a major tinfoil malfunction with Kagen, Sotomayor, Ginsburg, and Breyer. They did not get the party memo to denounce it as a tax and call it a penalty. They were merely obeying Party protocol, loving ALL taxes, and the wily Chief Justice was able to successfully jam the counter-signal. We have teams of scientists working on new measures to combat this unfortunate incident. Carry on though with the public denouncement for Roberts.

Comrades, we must never forget that Dear Leader is a constitutional scholar and knows much more about the constitution than the Supreme Court could ever even pretend to.

If Dear Leader says it's not a tax, then it's not a tax.

And there's no reason that he should have to have approval from the stupid Supreme Court anyway. He (and FLATUS) are the President.

That's okay. Doesn't matter, Laika. Roberts is the useful idiot they managed to rope-a-dope.

Why can't we just get taxes to "identify" as something that everybody wants, like entitlements. Then, if the teabaggers (spit) still insisted on calling them taxes, we could call them haters. Sounds like win-win to me.

Yes, Dedhedvedev. We can rename "taxes" into "The Right-Wing Big Lie." So the next time there is tax increase, it will be reported as an increase in the Right-Wing Big Lie.

And anyone who will want to mention taxes in the future, will automatically become a malicious participant in the Big Lie.

Dear Leader should (if it pleases him) eliminate all taxes by decree. Thus: income penalties, property penalties, estate penalties, capital gains penalties, etc. This would send the proper message.

A fee, a gift, a charge, a tariff, a generous donation to the World of Next Tuesday. Whatever. Dear Leader can call his new 'tax' anything he likes. If it walks like a duck, etc... A bread based fecal containment system is still a turd sandwich.
