Lance Corporal Brandon T Lara

Not to worry about Progs--this is garlic to them. Because it's bigger than their huge egos and little tiny worth. Which tells you what their egos are worth.

Lance Corporal Lara's body was flown into Randolph AFB Texas and then transferred to Zoellar Funeral home which is located in his home town of New Braunfels , TX. This video was made from a police cruiser during the transfer through Schertz on Sunday.

The funeral procession leaving New Braunfels two days later for burial at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio was equally impressive. The horses at FM 78 and 3009 were from the Comal County Mounted Possee in New Braunfels, Texas.

Is there anyone who doesn't understand my desire to secede and get away from the likes of that self-absorbed precious ass Obama and Peloski? In Texas we know how to honor our servicemen.

And Michelle has fourteen times the personal assistants of Laura Bush. And Nansky asked for some new expensive jets. The lion of the Senate is still a respected Democrat after murdering a staffer, Mary Jo Kopechne.

Union thugs busting up town-hall meetings of people more accustomed to working in their yards.

I think that Democrat is the definition of contempt.

Wow. What a tribute.

Pick any 100 people along the route and send them to Washington in place of the politicians. Is there any question we would all be far better off?

There is a church in the El Paso Valley, San Elizario. The priest is an old friend of mine; I knew him a bit before he took the cloth. It is a very poor parish, and the masses are said in Spanish, and the back wall is covered with the names, all Spanish, of the people who died serving this country. And here in Pecos the court house has a roster of the names. The city hall has a sign for the people in Iraq. Here are people with very strong ties to Mexico who understand perfectly well what's good about America.

Calling Nanski. Calling Nansky. Calling Barry-O. Calling Barry-O. If your production units and social fodder, poor, uneducated people, can figure out things that you can't, shouldn't you blush, just a little?

Oh. But in the end they're a good deal wiser. Because you spend your time looking up your own ass and smelling your farts.

This are my homies, as it were. Every land mark along the way I have passed many times. Tomorrow I will try to post one from Peachtree City here in GA.

Nothing like the Hill Country, is there? It's not fancy; the trees aren't much, but still--it's the Texas Hill Country.

Have you seen Taking Chance? I was in El Paso in a motel room some months ago and woke up in the middle of the night and it was on. Kevin Bacon was the officer who escorted the body of a fallen Marine home. They landed in Billings, Montana--been there--and drove through the northern Midwest.

There were no histrionics. Nothing was played to tug at your heart strings. If that had obtained, I'd have sneered at the manipulation and gone on. But I couldn't finish this. It was too powerful.

We have people who have given their lives. I know that--and pardon me--they enjoyed the camaraderie. And they enjoyed the adrenalin rush, the feeling of being very much alive. Bear in mind I confect deeds all day, which is nearly as bloodless as it can get. I get this.

Here we have in our rulers a group of people who float above us, secure in their assumed superiority, safe because they've never had to worry, having been carried on the shoulders of people better and stronger than they were, and like any spoiled trust-fund brat they despise them because an accounting would show them up to be a, er, trust-fund brat.

Barbara Boxer complains to a general that she wants to be called Senator instead of Ma'am. Well, perhaps respect is too good for her. Obama is the perfect exemplar of the affirmative-action baby and the world will live to regret it.

They will tell you that they are doing something big and fancy for the world but it's all about them. Has any of them put himself in the line of fire? Has any of them actually done anything braver than tell a lie which might be exposed?

Every shirking of responsibility, every distancing from reality, has a price that will be paid. The left is determined, in its childishness, that it can determine who will pay. But eventually someone will pay.

What is done in darkness will be brought to light; what is kept hidden will be made manifest. They're going to reap what they sow, and more.

Things eventually have be balanced but there is always a price when they are not. Think of the price that the Russians paid for 70 years. And are not done paying yet. TANSTAAL.

The ultimate evil of these people is that they don't care what the outcome is--so long as they don't have to bear it.

That is evil. Complete and utter evil.

Vampire Evil, Blood Sucking Evil.

Garlic Indeed.

Have you seen Taking Chance?

No I haven't, not yet. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I will soon.

My family and I witnessed a dignified transfer of two fallen heroes when we were waiting at the Achorage airport June of 2008. We stood as they loaded the precious cargo into the hold of the plane. Maybe half in the waiting area joined in standing. So it goes.

But then, I'm the kinda guy though, that gets pissy when he sees folks and their kids squirreling around at the Little Big Horn site. I guess they don't realize there is a lot of men buried under the monument and not at the National Cemetary located at the park.
