The Left and the Islamists are united by the kind of society they are. On the Left there are no civilians, only good little soldiers - just as in Islamist society there are no civilians only good little soldiers. Just as free societies unite by their common interests martial societies are united by the commonality of their shared interests as martial societies.

The martial society is completely different than a civil society. It is a fatal error to believe there is a distinction between the military and the civilian population in a martial society. There are no civilians on the Left and there are no civilians in Islam. They are warrior societies engaged in perpetual never-ending warfare. They are not of civil society and they do not want to be part of civil society.

It is a fatal error to believe all societies are civil societies.

We are engaged in a world war against the most brutal form of society there is: the martial State. 

It must be noted that it is the lustre of totalitarianism that attracts Party™ members to the siren song of the Islamic Caliphate. The seduction is a tried and tested tactic: give people power to rule over their neighbors without having to accept responsibility for their actions, as they are only following orders. Whether those orders come from Allah or The Party™ matters not. Those who disagree will be purged from society.
