My two cents- The Election of Barack (future)

User avatar
Greetings fellow comrades,
(off)
As promised, I will complete part two of my feelings about theelection, it has been about a week ( one week two days to be exact), sohere we go. If you haven't read my first one, here's the link.

Since this whole thing is but a prediction, and while it's based on myobservations, it's just that, my observations, as such, a lot of thiswill be worst case scenario.

I will be breaking everything down into these catigories: thedemocrats, the Republicans, both parties and other parties, Obama andhis presidency, and the people of the USA, and final thoughts.

So with this election done and over, we have seen the democrats keephold of the Senate, the House, and now take the White House, so getready to watch your money get sent off to worthless governmentprograms, like helping ACORN screw the next election (Yes, I know it'sa private organization). Now assuming Norm Coleman wins in Minnesota(he's up, even with the democrats trying their darnedest to get as manyvotes in as possible, last I checked, he's still up) the democrats willnot gain the filibuster-proof Senate they so wanted, so expect Ted orBawny to whine about our stupidity for not voting all the democrats infor their gain. However, since they have a big majority and the WhiteHouse, they will push their socialist agenda through the country theywant to destroy, but we'll all feel really good about it, because as asign I saw in our 4th of July political parade said, "When you votedemocrat, everyone wins" (I kid you not, they had the nerve to saythat). Ultamitly, the democrats will do everything they possibly can tokeep all the power they can, even if some are voted out in the midtermand four year election, can anyone say "1984" by George Orwell?

We conservatives have taken a heavy blow with this election, and hereis the worse part, the biggest part was from inside the party. Theparty has these watered down, "big-government Republicans" who feel theonly way to win an election is to play the game of the democrats, bycaving in, it says you care about everyone on both sides of the asile.Well, this election has sure proved that mentality right! I saw theSenate election, a HUGE majority of these RINO's got shot and had theirhorns collected for the ivory for Barack's new chair in the WhiteHouse. The future of the Republican Party now hangs on who we,conservatives, vote in in the primaries and such. Instead of thespineless RINO who keeps getting elected term after term, we need tobring people who actually stand on our principles, instead of kneelingto the democrats. Our principles are what's best for the country, history has shown us that, however, we can't bring America to greatnessif we can't stand on those principles. In the end, it will be us tobring the party back to its foundation, but we must fight for it, forthe RINOs will want thier ideas to be the new conservative movement, and why would we conservatives want a ballot with two democrats on it?I suppose it's their dream-come-true, but I sure hope it doesn't happen.

As the years will pass, both parties will continue for the fight forpower. I don't see any third party rising from the ashes of thedonk/elephant fight. In fact, I see the country becoming even morepartisan and divided amonst itself. People of third parties will driftto one side or the other because one of them simply lines up with theirspecialized beliefs, i.e. the Green party could see drops in numbers aspeople flock to the democrats, this way, they can push their beliefsthrough one of the two major political parties.

With the election of Obama, all our problems are sovled, right? Wellthat's what the Drive-By media would want us to believe. Have you guysseen all the "historic" collectibles advertized on TV. I just want tosay, this whole election has been nothing but an ego trip for him, andI'm being squashed beneith that stupid smile of his, along with thoseelephant ears of his. Anyway, so what can I say about what hispresidency will be? Well, considering what he's said, his socialistprograms will be his top priority, this way, everyone will feel good.So let's get ready to get everything regulated, and see what Canada hasbeen holding back from us. We all know he will pull us out of Iraq, since we shouldn't have gone in in the first place. He will probablypull us out of Afghanistan too, after all, the military is a socialexperiment, not an institution of defense, because we are safe fromIslamo facists and other foriegn wackos simply because Barack will saveus.

So what will happen when all of his policies are put into play? A longstory short, some will embrace them, others will reject them, whichleads to the next subject, the people.

Well, as described before, the people will become even more divisedamong each other. Red vs. blue, yeah literally, red state folk vs. bluestate sophisticates. Now, I've gotten mail about either blue or redstates or counties leaving the Union and forming their own nations. DoI see this happening in the four years Barack is president? No, do Isee it becoming a little more evident/possible as the years move on,yes. Hey, look on the bright side for us conservatives, we get moreland, and can laugh as the socialist states crumble under theirfinancial crisises.

Ultimatly, we as Americans will probably live as we have, no matterwhat party controls the House, the Senate or the White House. I see usjust minding our own business and voting for who we feel will representus the best.

Thank you for reading this, I hope you enjoyed it in someway.

Comrade Elliott,

Perhaps I speak for all when I note that in languages that do not discriminate between [l] and [r], those two phones' pronunciation can be troubling. Given that Red China will demand that Comrade Obama step aside for the new hegemon, I think this post should be retitled in deference to our future real leaders for life from East Asia (including the North Koreans), who would pronounce it as "The Erection of Barack."

I enjoyed your post regardless, but once Comrade Obama turns on the printing presses, I think it will shortly be your 200 cents. Thanks to the People's IT Guy, you will be able to update your two cents to meet the Current Value, assuming inflation remains below Zimbabwean levels; otherwise you'd have to add a another zero before even hitting Submit.

Not only will The One make the waters recede, he will make more into less. Glorious, indeed!

I heard he will make something out of nothing, no one can do that, well, us prols anyway.

Is the Obamasiah going to start taxing submit buttons and internet useage now? Wow! This will be a fantastic way for those jittery teens to finally get into the real world and pay taxes for our Glorious Revolutions.

If anything, let's hope inflation gets sky high, this way, the prols will live in absolute poverty, while the Obamasiah and The Party live like rich capitalist billionares, without the capitalism. We'll be just like our long lost Soviet Union. What a great joy that would bring to all!

Comrade Elliott,

A glorious comment, indeed. Truly, not truer Truth has been truthed!

User avatar
Comrade, if you truly have 2 cents, then one of those pennies should be redistributed.

I denounce you as a greedy holdout.

User avatar
Comrade Whoopie,

A wonderfully proletarian observation. However, would it not be better to distribute both pennies, thereby giving increased chances to two people rather than one person, even if it would leave Comrade Elliott with no cents?

Judging by his avatar, he is a privileged white male and a Party member and therefore more equal than you and I. That said, I believe I have identified the two comrades most in need of each of Comrade Elliott's two pennies.

In fact, I suspect we can help Comrade Elliott provide even more pennies. After all, he wouldn't want word of his hoarding to reach the ears of certain other Comrades.

Comrade Elliott: Silence is golden (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Believe it or not, I too am a lowly proletarian. I'm not yet high up in Party ranks. My avitar comes from an episode of "The Simpsons". In the episode " The Simpson Tide", Kapitalist pig Homer Simpson joins the Navy Reserves. They have a "War Games" at the end of their training. Well, after accidentally firing their captain on the neuclear sub, Homer steers the sub into Soviet waters. The picture you see, is on the local Springfield news. Aparently, the Media got hold fo this picture.

I figured since we are a Progressive, and since I'm a Simpson fan, I thought this picture would be absolutly perfect for me.

Now, I'm all for redistribulting wealth to people who need our money, but I must ask, though The Party supplies all I need, may I have some money if I need something right away? I know this sounds silly, but I am asking because I don't know.

User avatar
Comrade Elliott,

I shall submit the requisite forms to The One or one of his Toadies requesting that your two cents thus be reimbursed from the People's Bank.

However, I am sorry to say your self-criticism sessions have apaprently gone wanting, for "right away" implies lingering capitalist thought. Remember what ration lines are for, comrade: steeling ourselves for the sacrifices required to build Utopia!

Now pardon me while I go get some of that "national malaise," or is it Maalox?

My foolishness of our glorious system still is getting me. Please take my money, house and car and let me live in a government-approved appartment.

Comrade_Elliott,
Our shared learning and understanding has come about without compulsory caring-and-sharing; surely that will come later for the Public Good™. To paraphrase a line from a famous '40s reactionary movie, "Elliott, this could be the start of a beautiful comradeship."

You are making me smile Comrade_Tovarich, although I have no clue which movie you are referencing, so I'll just take the phrase as a good sign :).

It's Casablanca, I know.
